No disrespect Bandit, but sometimes we think bad things only happen to our side.
It actually happens to 31 sides every season.
Today was just one of those days that started out bad and never got any better. Nobody seemed to be able to make a play. Lot of reasons for it but sometimes it just happens.

The disappointment is still stinging just a bit this morning, and it's hard to temper thoughts in that frame of mind.
Helluva season? You bet!
Came close to a repeat of 2010 (FIDO). And that was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in football.
Enjoy it? Absolutely!
Even when the team is down and prospects are bleak; through all the rage, bewilderment, cussing, and wanting to fire every single player and coach (by God!), the sheer joy of winning, and that feeling of satisfaction when they play well overcomes them all.
Disappointed? You damn skippy, hippie!
In spite of injuries, depth, or just about any other factor, the Packers underachieved. Again.
Our veterans are another year older (some may be retiring or 'getting retired') and don't really have much to show for it.
Add not taking advantage of an All-World QB playing at an All-World level and the disappointment only deepens.
Man, I can't wait for next year!

Well said - I can't wait for the off season to see if the Packers make hard decisions on the glaring issues facing this team.
Back in November when they fell to 4-6 honestly at that point I was thinking that maybe it wouldn't be that bad if they ran the table in the loss column to get a better draft pick. Yes I was for them tanking it.
Then came yesterday. We had a small gathering for the game and told everyone before the game that man what a ride this has been. A team that was dead in the water found itself and somehow overcome so many things to get to the point that they did is really a fun ride.
Changes are inevitable this offseason that is for sure and I think on the defensive side of the ball it HAS TO HAPPEN. They just cannot continue to play defense like they have the last few years. Whether it is coaching or players or both they have to address it harshly.
On D, it's coaching AND players and changes must be made. Look at how the Falcon and Patriot defenses, weak just a few years ago, have been improved.
It is time for a defensive change. Hopefully, it happens. Like another poster mentioned how can Ted draft this bad on defense when he has drafted really well on offense? Something doesn't add up. I believe it is the coaching and scheme. Time for a change big time.
Proud of this team. I can accept losing to a better team, which Atlanta was...same for NYG in 2011, San Fran, and Arizona. Losing to Seattle in 2014 was tougher to swallow because I know we were better than them. Once again though, McCarthy and Rodgers had us in a position to win it all again. I will take that over what Denver is going through for sure. Stability and consistency and in contention ever year.
Very enjoyable run at the end of the season. Loved beating all 3 NFCN teams as part of the run and crushing the giants and beating Jerry's team at Jerry World. Hope changes are coming but I am skeptical given "We do what we do."
We do what we do on offense pretty well when it's clicking. We still have good receivers (although need to look to the future), and a heck of an Oline. We need an everyday back, but it will be interesting to see Monty with a full TC and year back there. On D, we need a new DC. I'm hopeful because we have some good, young talant with Randall, Rollins, Fack, Ryan, Martinez, Thomas, Clark, et al. I am not hopeful that Dom can get the best out of them, or put them in the best positions to be successful.
The "Run The Table" stretch of games is one for the history books! The consecutive four losses are not. Getting people healthy and stronger should be the goal of the off season. Resigning some of our FAs, especially the ones Aaron Rodgers wants, and a few others plus looking to see what other teams FAs have to offer us then going into the draft and getting some solid talent there. Evaluating the injury situation this team faced this year and the past few years might bring some changes to the strength and conditioning methods used and maybe even some tweaks to equipment designed to lessen the chance and/or the duration of injuries. How anyone cannot see that Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the game today and the MVP is beyond me. I am looking forward to the offseason, the Draft and the 2017 season! GO PACK, GO!!!
"No more Joe Thomas'... stick 52 in the middle"
He was hardly the problem. Exceptional in pass defense, impact plays, brought the lumber and remained healthy for the most part. Our ILB crew was fine this season.
I'd like to see 52 used just the way he was this year but have him healthy.
Offense was fine this year. We broke out of the funk finally and with a better group of RB's will be tops in the NFL again.
In the NFCC we were all disappointed with 21 points, but if the ball bounces our way we are looking at 30+ points. Once again, it's the Defense that keeps us from advancing. Once in a while the offense will have an off game, we need the D to be able to step up on that rare occasion and win one for us. They can't.

I think big changes are coming. Mostly to management, but some to player personnel, as well. GB did not bring back Wolf and Gutekunst just to have them drink coffee in the office. I'm guessing that within the next few weeks, maybe days, TT will step down as GM and takes that Scouting position he likes, Wolf becomes our new GM and Dom Capers retires as DC. Unsure yet as to what role Gutekunst fills. Asst GM maybe? We cannot go on as before.
