The 2014 playoffs is the last time that we saw the other worldly AR. That calf didn't affect his ability to make decisions and be accurate and only the lack of the killer instinct kept them out of the SB that year. 2014 he had only 4 games with a rating below 100. In 2015 he only had 3 games above 100. He is not passing the eye test. One thing we cannot tell is what was called in plays that he is bailing on due to any number of reasons. I honestly think that the coaching staff needs to figure out what they are not able to do what they used to be able to do.

As far as Diggs goes, they figured that he would not hurt them and while he was the difference, by conventional wisdom, taking the 3 points that were there for the taking, it would have been at worst a tie going to OT.

The real question is, can this team progress? Can the play calling improve? Can the execution improve? Can AR get his accuracy back? Is it because he is constantly throwing off of his back foot?

If the main problem with the offense last year was our WR's not getting separation, then the offense is not having the same problem so far this season.  I saw plenty of open receivers sunday night and as has been pointed out AR misses them with either a bad throw or bad awareness.  At first it is hard to believe and then it is hard to watch.

Also have to give credit to MIN defense.  They are a really good bunch.

Or just stubborn and resistent to change (see Abdul Hodge vs. AJ Hawk)

Abdul Hodge is a very bad example. Lasted 1 yr in GB (other than a year on IR), and only played in 8 games.

Hawk's available andaccountable has been well documented, as well as his fall of a cliff  type decline.

When there are better options the Packers use them.

On a very positive note, the run D has been awesome.  Daniels is a beast in the middle and GB finally found a couple of young thumpers in Ryan and Martinez.  Those two are going to be good.

And they have been able to get away with playing Nickel as their base defense, using only 2 D-lineman, one of our thinnest positions.

This has been a pleasant surprise. I was concerned about the d-line depth with Raji quitting, Pennell's suspension, Clark being a rookie, and Datone being moved. Not only are Daniels and Guion playing very well, but the elephant ends are really setting the edge in the run defense, and our ILB play has jumped significantly  . Gives added benefit, stop the run in base nickel plus you are schematically in a better fit to defend the pass.

Yeah how many TFL's did Jake Ryan have, 2 or 3? He was all over the field chasing down backs meeting them at or behind the line. Joe Thomas had that nasty hit in the flat for a TFL. This is going to be a really good group of ILBs. Martinez seems to be okay doing to the dirty work while Ryan flies around. After seeing the way Luke Keuchly attacked Denver in week 1, it was sad to see how non-aggressive our ILBs were in comparison vs. JAX. Against MIN though, they were very aggressive and made some big plays!

Being AVAILABLE and ACCOUNTABLE does not make one COMPETENT and it certainly did not make Hawk a requisite NFL ILBer.

We've seen more aggressive ILBer play, especially on Sunday night, from Martinez, Ryan, and Thomas than we saw for 6 years with AJ and his merry band of misfit partners. Other than Desmond Bishop's short run that ended in injury we had a parade of untalented JAGs from DJ Smith, to Jamari Lattimore, to Nate Palmer, Brad Jones, etc. Ugh!

So refreshing to see an ILBer wearing Green & Gold attack the play and even make tackles for loss after being subjected to so many years of the the soft as Charmin Hawk tackles well past the LOS.

That crossing route Vine from Nagler that Titm posted makes Rodgers look like a rookie.  Just locks in on Primary target, Cobb, and the moment it's not there he bails.  He bails a clean pocket without even attempting to go through a progression.  If he had, the obvious spot to look is where the backer who came to double abandoned, the crosser.

Its not an isolated incident

ugggh.. Such a simple read and he just flat out bailed.  Didn't miss the read, just didn't even attempt a progression.

Wonder if Rodgers hear this?

Ok.  Never heard of him

Then I guess his opinion is chiseled in stone.  ESPN or not.

Sorry, I refuse to panic here.

The packers just went through two weeks of heck.

On the road in jaxs followed up by mn.

Honestly, I saw an 0-2 start as being very likely.

But, they are 1-1.

Look at the two teams that played in the jaxs heat and tell me who played better the following week.

These guys are not robots. They suffer and recover just like you and I.

I personally believe, all things equal, we beat the Vikings at a rate of 90%.

both jaxs and us lost......

why?
