Agree....Brewer World Series win is a life bucket list thing.
The Packers have 13 world titles, the Brewers have 0. It is their turn. IT IS TIME!!!!!
They are closer, a complete team, with a GM who seems to be in touch and a manager who just may be cutting edge, a team on the cusp as compared to......well, you be the judge.
Gonna be a fun night and next week for that matter.

I actually hate baseball, yet on Monday Night I watched way more of the Brewers' game, I followed their scores when I was in Africa, and I even tried to watch the 13 inning beast of a game. I made it to 10 before I fell asleep.
Yesterday, I watched more of the Brewers than I did of the Bucks game. I think this is one of the signs of the apocalypse.
Mike McCarthy would love nothing more then a WS for the Brewers and all the distraction from local media and fans that comes with it. #whathotseat #lookingat3-5-1 #wedowhatwedo

I haven't followed baseball since the strike that accomplished nothing in '94, and grew to dislike it even more after the staged homer-fest a couple of years later. But, I have to admit they are reeling me back in. Have listened to Uecker a couple of times recently. Forgot what a treat that is.
I was a big Braves fan when I was in Wisconsin. That shows you how old I am. When I moved down south I still followed them. Now...meh

This is me. Considering I followed the Brewers almost exclusively via radio I have to admit Uecker is still the shit.
McCarthy is our only hope now.

I'm more disappointed about Uecker not getting to call games in the World Series than just about anything else. The guy is 85 years old in January and really is "Mr. Brewer" He deserves to call a World Series win after 46 years of calling Brewer games.

Not pointing at you, PH. Just a general statement. There is still room to improve and we've seen potential in places but anyone thinking this could be a SB team needs to check their expectations. Lack of a pass rush and talent at S will doom the D. OL problems will keep the O from reaching full potential.

The 2010 Packers defense only gave up more than 30 points once all season (and that was to the Patriots in Foxboro in the game Flynn played and where the Flynn threw a Pick 6). The defense was consistently strong in most of their losses. The six losses were the following and the defense actually gave up 13, 13, 20, 20, 10, and 24 points.
1. Bears 20-17. The defense actually only gave up one TD (on a 44 yard drive after a 28 yard Hester punt return and the special teams gave up a Hester TD punt return).
2. Redskins 16-13 OT. Lost on a Rodgers interception in OT when the Redskins got the ball at the GB 39 and drove 24 yards.
3. Dolphins 23-20 OT. Redskins got the ball at mid-field in OT after a 37 yard punt and drove 25 yards.
4. Falcons 20-17. Packers tie game with 1 minute left and the special teams allows a 40 yard return with another 15 on a face mask on the tackle. Falcons drive 20 yards for a FG.
5. Lions 10-3. Rodgers gets a concussion.
6. Patriots 31-27. Rodgers out. Flynn gives up a pick 6.
The point is that the defense played well enough to win every game that year. They most they gave up in losses were to the Falcons (20) and the Patriots (24) and the combined record of those teams was 27-5 that year.
I don't see the Packer defense having that kind of performance this year. Woodson, Nick Collins, Cullen Jenkins, BJ Raji, and the 2010 versions of Tramon, CM3, and Shields were all impact players or close to it.
