So here, as promised, are some pictures of the Dallas Morning News coverage of the Packers win. I've been listening to ESPN here in Dallas for the last hour plus, and the amount of whining is at an all-time high here. Cowboys fans are near apoplectic.

And I love it.

I'll need a few minutes to post everything; I'm providing teaser pictures of each individual page that had content about the game, with a link to see a picture at double the size, in case you all want to read it. I'm no professional photographer, but it should be legible. Thank my iPhone 7 if it is. The larger images should open in new browser windows, so you don't lose your place here.

Basically, the sports media in Dallas is blaming the loss on a combination of factors, most of which I find ridiculous. They're passing the buck. "This team was 13-3 last year. They have as many losses on October 9th as they did all last year. They're not this bad, just need to tighten a few things up, and get Sean Lee back." Jason Garrett is receiving a lot of the blame for not running more time off the clock at the end of the game; 73 seconds was "too much time to give Aaron Rodgers". But Jean-Jacques Taylor and Nate Newton, both on ESPN 103.3 in Dallas, conceded the amount of time left really didn't matter. Newton said, "Cowboys fans have seen this movie before. It didn't matter if Rodgers had 73 seconds, or 40 seconds. He was going to get it done." Jason Garrett thought that the Packer mindset prior to Rodgers high-stepping first down scramble was to go for the game-tying field goal. That "changed" once he converted on third down. I find that humorous. Aaron Rodgers said that the whole drive, they'd planned on going for the game-winning touchdown. Given the issues the kicking game had with  two missed PATs, that should have been obvious to anybody in the stadium, or watching the game.

real big deal was being made about Lee missing the game. I heard very little, however, conceding that the Packers were missing left tackle David Bakhtiari, and their top two running backs on the depth chart. Also, they casually glossed over the fact that Jordy Nelson, with 20 TD receptions in his last 21 regular season games, was standing on the sidelines with an as-of-yet undetermined injury, for the final drive.

Here are the sports articles. Have at it, boys!

I think I got everything. If y'all (I strained to talk like a Texan there. Didn't quite work) see anything I missed, speak up, and I reckon I'll get 'er done for ya later today. Hee haw!

This next week is going to be glorious! I'm going to go out of my way to stop in at the local gas stations, and perhaps a sports bar, or two, to bask in the glow of victory, and rub some "Cowboy nation" noses in sh__!

Since you live in the area LambeauSouth, can you help answer this question:

1.  When building a brand new spankin' stadium from scratch, why did Jerrah allow the windows to be placed on the West side (or SouthWest)?  Why not place the windows on the East Side - so the afternoon sun would not be a factor in how a game might be decided?  ---this would still allow light in, but not the glaring afternoon sun.

2.  Now that it's done, can the windows be covered up?  or is it on the whim of the Home Team as to allowing glaring sunlight into the stadium or not (like the Giants had done in the Meadowlands with the winds)?

I know in the old stadium in Irving, the hole in the roof did allow the setting afternoon sun to come in and wreak havoc with play at times.  Even for fans it was a pain sitting on the East Side of the Stadium.  (I was there for the 1995 Championship Game and the first half was tough to see).

It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. It looked blinding for the players.

While I really enjoyed the dagger in the heart of Dallas once again, I am not surprised by the loss or their record.  I have been saying all year that Dallas was a mirage at 13-3 and we would see a reversion to the mean in 2017.  I thought Dallas might be a wild  card team at 9-7 but only if they had some excellent fortune and that 500 ball was about what they were capable of playing.

Prescott beat a baaad Cardinal team that had a chance to bury them before the 1st qtr was over and a really bad NY Giant football team that I also predicted to be a 8-8 or worse team this year.  Dallas fans are illusiory that the kind of o-line dominance they demonstrated last year would be repeatable, especially if a hard look was taken at the final 8 games Dallas played last year.  Dallas was pushed by a Viking team that couldn't score on good college team  and they played the AFC North which was 4 gimme victories.  This year the AFC West  which looks like it could be 3-1 against the Boys and Washington will play them very tough at RFK and no way they beat Philly in Philly so I just don't see 6 more victories for  Jerruh's boys  this year!

Like most I am hoping we get to play the 49ers in Lambeau  for the NFC Championship but I recognize we could indeed see the Cowpukes again, and that their offensive team is good and could do well in a weather game.   I still think and feel that my eyes are not deceived by what I have seen on the field.  Currently the boys are not a good football team, could they get hot yes (just look at GB last year.  Should GB get healthy and play to their potential I strongly believe that GB has a great shot to get that game at home.  As Boris said a lotta football  left but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

DallAss is getting a dose of what all teams go through from time to time; FA defection and injury to key players/at key positions.
They still have good, if not excellent, talent at the skill positions on offense. OL and WR depth will likely determine how their season plays out.
They are, however, a hot mess on defense. Can't stop the rush or cover downfield. They have some talent, but the sum of their parts is woeful.
They actually remind me of a certain team's defense; no ROI from draft and/or FA acquisition, resulting in poor play and depth issues. Injury only compounds the problem....

I don't know what it was the Packers saw on film, but there was no doubt MM, Bennett, and ARod knew we were going to score. That was evidenced by doing so on 5 out of 7 drives.
Probably the best game plan I've seen for the offense in the last couple or so years. They knew exactly where the Cowboys weaknesses were and exactly how to exploit them.

Dallas is 2-3 with Zeke starting the first five weeks.

Where will they be after* he serves his suspension.

We are assuming that Zeke's lawyers and the NFLPA will "allow" him to serve his suspension this season.  But I think it'll be a "Brady Drama" again and he'll have this extended out until next season.  Unless the Cryboys are out of contention early enough and he'll just want to get it over with this season.

I'm curious when the "final word" will be coming down.
