So here, as promised, are some pictures of the Dallas Morning News coverage of the Packers win. I've been listening to ESPN here in Dallas for the last hour plus, and the amount of whining is at an all-time high here. Cowboys fans are near apoplectic.
And I love it.
I'll need a few minutes to post everything; I'm providing teaser pictures of each individual page that had content about the game, with a link to see a picture at double the size, in case you all want to read it. I'm no professional photographer, but it should be legible. Thank my iPhone 7 if it is. The larger images should open in new browser windows, so you don't lose your place here.
Basically, the sports media in Dallas is blaming the loss on a combination of factors, most of which I find ridiculous. They're passing the buck. "This team was 13-3 last year. They have as many losses on October 9th as they did all last year. They're not this bad, just need to tighten a few things up, and get Sean Lee back." Jason Garrett is receiving a lot of the blame for not running more time off the clock at the end of the game; 73 seconds was "too much time to give Aaron Rodgers". But Jean-Jacques Taylor and Nate Newton, both on ESPN 103.3 in Dallas, conceded the amount of time left really didn't matter. Newton said, "Cowboys fans have seen this movie before. It didn't matter if Rodgers had 73 seconds, or 40 seconds. He was going to get it done." Jason Garrett thought that the Packer mindset prior to Rodgers high-stepping first down scramble was to go for the game-tying field goal. That "changed" once he converted on third down. I find that humorous. Aaron Rodgers said that the whole drive, they'd planned on going for the game-winning touchdown. Given the issues the kicking game had with two missed PATs, that should have been obvious to anybody in the stadium, or watching the game.
A real big deal was being made about Lee missing the game. I heard very little, however, conceding that the Packers were missing left tackle David Bakhtiari, and their top two running backs on the depth chart. Also, they casually glossed over the fact that Jordy Nelson, with 20 TD receptions in his last 21 regular season games, was standing on the sidelines with an as-of-yet undetermined injury, for the final drive.
Here are the sports articles. Have at it, boys!

I think I got everything. If y'all (I strained to talk like a Texan there. Didn't quite work) see anything I missed, speak up, and I reckon I'll get 'er done for ya later today. Hee haw!
This next week is going to be glorious! I'm going to go out of my way to stop in at the local gas stations, and perhaps a sports bar, or two, to bask in the glow of victory, and rub some "Cowboy nation" noses in sh__!
