quote:Alcohol is a poison that has no real benefit other than a buzz which is just a bandaid to escape reality. People like me can have fun without it.
It is loaded with calories and kills brain cells. It also is usually a key player in most assaults, domestic violence, and rapes. As well as thousands of drunk driving deaths. Yet it is glamourized because huge liquor companies are making billions of dollars. Yet weed which has less negatives is demonized because it can't be monetized.
Then there is the people who cannot control their drinking and let themself get addicted. They then want to call it a disease as a crutch because they are lacking the willpower to stop. I can put an alcoholic in a padded room with no booze and other than some initial withdrawls will improve their health. Can't do that with someone with cancer.

Deep thought of the day:
People often debate what should be done with their remains after dying. I have come to this logical conclusion.
Being put in a coffin etc is just arrogance of man thinking they are cheating death as well as part of archaic rituals.
I observe nature and notice that energy is recycled. We are no different than a plant that dies, its just our arrogance that makes us think we are.
Therefore there is two legitimate ways to have remains disposed.
1. be put directly in the ground not in a coffin or any sort of bag or container.
2. be put in the ocean/lake not in a coffin or any sort of bag or container.
Cremation is ok as a last resort but might as well let the earth have the energy rather than putting ashes in some ghastly ern.

Henry, what are your thoughts on the battle of Dunkirk. I want to see what baloney public schools teach these days.
