Despite living an hour away from Buffalo and in the heart of Bills country,  I have been a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan since childhood.. In fact, thanks to the last stock sale, I can also say that I am a part-owner! When my youngest child, my daughter, became a fan as well, she inspired me to finally make a trip with her and some close friends to Lambeau to see the Packers play the Eagles. That was in 2013 and, unfortunately, the week before that game, Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone  against the Bears. Fast forward to 2017: I bought tickets (not cheap, plus airfare and two nights of hotels) to bring my daughter and one of my sons for our second visit, for next Sunday, vs the Saints. Yesterday,of course....Aaron Rodgers breaks his collarbone. So, two trip$ to Green Bay, no Aaron Rodgers. Trying to keep things in perspective, but c'mon, what are the odds?!  Shea McClellan and Anthony Barr, I will hate both of you for eternity. Brett Hundley, please give me a better game than Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien did last time around!

I suggest you pretend to be a die hard fan of the Vikings and Lions and buy tickets to the Thanksgiving game. 2 for 1. I’ll start a go fund me for this.

Have a great time this weekend. It’s still Lambeau and Green Bay.

Sounds like sound advice, lol.  We'll still have a great time, no doubt, but it's hard to see the great disappointment in my daughter who was so excited to see him play after missing him last time around.  Jordy has always been her number 1, but Rodgers was close behind.

If nothing else, just being at Lambeau to enjoy the atmosphere for a few hours before game time is always special.  I think the Pack can make this an exciting game as well even without Rodgers so I think at the very least it should be entertaining win or lose.  I can't blame you for feeling at least slightly disappointed that Rodgers won't be there, but you can still have a great time anyways.
