...because it's the last MNF game of the season.

...because I couldn't stomach one more Lifetime Christmas movie.

...because Eagles win home field with  win...and I want the Vikings playing there in January.

There can be only one.

?

Aren't they 1-2 in Conference and if chalk holds, play in the NFC Championship game?

MVP Talk is junk. Take brady off team and they don’t miss a beat. This isn’t opinion but fact based on suspension and the cassel season. Brady stands in a pocket with no pressure and delivers the ball to open receivers. Great team but not a GOAT or MVP.

Yeah, they won how many SB's without Brady? There's fact.

They’ve played incredibly well without Brady, so I’d agree with the argument that he’s not the hero everybody claims he is.

The opposite is true for the Packers without 12.

I feel the Rams or the Saints are capable of beating the Vikings.  Not sure Minny can outscore either of them.

You would think so, but to Minnesota's credit, they beat both those teams in the regular season.   That said, playoff football is a different story and the Vikes' team history does not bode well for them getting through a playoff gauntlet.

I don't deny that Brady has a good team around him, much better than Aaron Rodgers has.  But I'm not going to penalize Brady just because he has some help, the guy is stiil great and worthy of any sort of MVP or GOAT tag that he gets.

Tell me what he does to win those games? He has a top 10 defense every year he goes to Super Bowl. He has coaches that prepare and change strategies often to match up against each opponent. Just what does Brady do? Do you watch him play? Tell me, how he makes plays? He sits untouched in a clean pocket throwing somewhat inaccurate passes to wide open receivers. When he is pressured and forced to make a play - he lays an egg, see @Dolphins a few weeks ago. Yes, praise Brady for Suberbowl wins, like his team and coaches don't contribute. Just what plays is he making - how is he a difference maker? 4 game suspension team goes 3-1 with 3rd string QB in only game they lose. You have no facts other than the team accomplishment and give hime all the credit.

Brady does things differently than a number of guys, but he's still great at maximizing the gifts he does have.   First, he's incredibly smart in terms of quickly processing what he sees a defense running.  There isn't anyone that processes as quickly as Brady.  When he does feel pressure, he's very good at sliding out of it.  He can't run himself out of trouble, but he does have a pretty quick 1st step in any direction that allows him to buy an extra second if he needs it. He's accurate and his arm is still pretty strong.

I was once a Patriot hater and always tried to discredit Brady as much as I could like others do.  After watching the guy dominate for about 14 years, I gave up trying to discredit him.  Maybe now that he's 40 we'll start to see some decline in him, but if there's been some decline it hasn't been by much.

One thing I will agree with, he does have better coaching and defense over 16 years than anyone else has had.  That said, I still think he's one of only a handful of guys who could even think of getting them to 5 Super Bowl wins in 16 years, plus 2 other Super Bowl appearances and many other conference title game appearances.

Foles was a hot bag of dog**** last night. He threw a pick six directly to the Raiders safety that probably puts the game out of reach. It was a walk in 7. It’s just that the safety forgot he had to catch the ball first.

If last night proved anything it’s that a competent defense can cover a backup QB that lacks the ability to win a game on his own.

Agree about the defense.  Created a key turnover to win the game.

But I wasn't talking just about last night....but, Foles was the winning QB.  The Eagles won the game.

He also finished the Rams game with a win.  That was huge.

I don't think the Eagles win the Super Bowl with Foles this year....but, heck, Dilfer won a Super Bowl so anything can happen I guess.

The AFC team is winning the Super Bowl this year.

Only NFC team I could see possibly winning it all is the Rams. Carolina will f**k it up somewhere along the line even if they make it there.

The last 25 years, the Super Bowl Champions have been QB'd by future HOF QB at 19 of the 25 years. If you consider Eli Manning and Russell Wilson potential HOFers (and it's definitely a possibility in both cases) then that number goes to 22 of 25. Joe Flacco, Brad Johnson, and Trent Dilfer are the exceptions.

I can't see Case Keenum, Jared Goff, Blake Bortles, or Nick Foles winning one. Joe Flacco is a maybe.

It's likely going to be New England, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Atlanta, Seattle, or New Orleans.

It almost always comes down to whether you have a good enough QB to win.

Aaron Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, but that's about it.

If there ever was a year where a Keenum or Foles or Cam led team could win it all it is this year.   No one is dominate, all are flawed to some degree.

NE and Pitt are the cream of the crop but in a one game tourney anything can happen.
