Is Aaron Rodgers Frustrated?

Dude hasn't balled since Oct. and won't again until mini camps at earliest.  Gotta be dying to scratch that itch.

He's come off as frustrated and irritated often in his tenure. 

Defense was garbage for years and offered him little, if any, support. Any frustration he has on that side of the ball is more than warranted.

Geronimo would tell you Rodgers played in December but he’d rather not discuss it. 

Why wouldn't he be frustrated about getting charged for a jersey, it's $150 bucks and he only makes like $20 million. I'm sure that burns him up. 

Aaron is better than Tom. Tom is trying to win his sixth ring in three days. 

Aaron has shown incredible restraint by not asking Mike to stop wasting his ****ing time. 

I'd think he'd be frustrated, but now that he is dancin' with Danica, I'd say frustration levels are low.

Seems the QB needs to talk to his old QB coach.

Alex Van Pelt did not sign an extension before the 2017 season because he wanted to be able to pursue a coordinator job. Mike McCarthy has historically blocked position coaches from coordinator interviews if under contract. Ben McAdoo did same thing after being blocked.

I look at this as GB learned something from the (4) years. Can't let AR dictate everything. As good as he is, and I love the guy...he shouldn't run the program.

Something else Sherman said when he was on with Tauscher this morning, Favre didn't really try to get too involved in personnel dealings. I recall a lot about Favre being upset Thompson didn't get Moss, but was that ever verified/on record? Or was that a reporter projecting their opinion through Favre?

Exactly what Mike has to fix. 

I heard that Van Pelt left on his own volition.  He chose not to re up last year b/c he wanted to be available for OC openings (Packers don't have to let him interview unless it's for a HC position).  

Anyone think Rodgers kind of sounds like Favre at the end of his career with this comment?  Honestly, after the year the offense had, changes had to be made.  Rodgers can "like" Van Pelt all he wants but after what happened with Hundley, how can you keep him?  Van Pelt has been Hundley's QB coach for three years and we saw that Hundley was just not prepared to be a starter.  That's just not good enough.  

EDIT: Ha, I should have read the thread before posting.  Everyone thought he sounded like Favre........

He retired a day after Randy Moss re-signed with the Patriots in March of 2008. He was angry when TT couldn't seal the deal on the trade for Moss with the Raiders in 2007, and threw a tantrum when he re-signed with New England the next year.

Thought I read something about some players trading game jerseys with opponents after games.  Kind of a respect deal.  Not just in GB.

AR should be upset.  He's done everything the Packers have asked him to do.   Only getting to one SB puts him in the same conversation as Favre.  He wants to be better than Favre.  He wants to be seen in the same class as Starr.   I think he already is...but AR believes he needs another SB at the least and is upset with the 1265 Lombardi Ave. brass that the his support isn't there....or hasn't been there.

Of course, my opinion could be wrong.

Rodgers is politely telling the front office that things in GB are not settled just because Dom is out. Having said that, I never thought Van Pelt was much of an impact. During games, he looked like a lucky fan with great seats.

Do other occupations trade shirts when they get together?

Do police officers trade shirts after a couple of precincts get together for a drug bust?

Do visiting professors trade shirts at colleges?

Do supermodels exchange bikini tops after a group photo shoot?

Hmm, perhaps someone should tweet Aaron that he ought to be satisfied with all the "success" Green Bay has enjoyed over the past 13 seasons, or that winning (or in GB's case even getting to) Super Bowls is hard, or remind him that the Pack made the playoffs 8 straight years, or any of the other rationalizations that have been trotted out the past several years to explain the Pack's absence from the big game despite the presence of a top 2 player at QB.

Then again, maybe Aaron is just "spoiled" like those Packer fans who for some reason don't consider 1 Super Bowl appearance over 12-13 years under MM/TT (all with hall of fame QBs under center) to be that great of an accomplishment.

Someone needs to tell AR that if playing sandlot football was what he was learning from AVP, then he needs a different coach. I don't think it was AVP who stepped in last year to get Rodgers to throw the ball earlier; if I recall, I think MM had something to say about it. Just because you like a guy doesn't mean he's the best coach for you.
