Found on the internet: The Bears will be without starting cornerback Jaylon Johnson (shoulder) and nickel back Buster Skrine (concussion). In addition, starting safety Tashaun Gipson (neck) and backup safety Deon Bush (foot) are questionable. With a banged-up secondary, LaFleur might think there are some yards to be gained through the air, especially if defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano decides to load up on the run. That temptation will be there as LaFleur designs a game plan. But the Packers rushed for 182 yards in the first meeting and while some of that had to do with Hicks being out, the Bears aren’t the run-stuffing team they once were. Following rookie AJ Dillon’s 124-yard performance and with the return of Jamaal Williams (thigh), LaFleur has a triple threat in the backfield. “It's one of those things I wish we could hand it to all of them 20 times, throw them the ball,” offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said. “But then you also have some other good players on the outside. So, I think it's about just keeping a good mix.”

Anybody that thinks the bye doesn't help Green Bay needs their heads examined.

First & foremost it's 1 less game to play to get to the Super Bowl.

He'll also throw several up for grabs during a game and Packers need to catch them when the opportunity arises.

I don't not get the brilliant takes people have that GB is better off not getting the bye. So stupid. And there are a lot of people that share this belief.

These are idiotic takes, especially after having seen what happened with Bakh even in a non-contact run-though.   Obviously, like Bakh, weird stuff can happen at any point, but there is a lot higher chance of it happening the more you get hit at the end of a season where you are already banged up.  Every game you have to play is more risk for injury. If that wasn't the case, you'd play every starter as much as possible in the preseason games to make sure they were sharp. These kinds of takes probably never actually consider what the bruises on a football player's body look like after every game. At this point in the season, an extra 7 days off from full contact to recover is huge.

Do they have a stat for most passes into quintuple coverage in the EZ?

Here are the inactives for Sunday's Packers-Bears game at Soldier Field.

Green Bay Packers

10 QB Jordan Love
37 CB Josh Jackson
53 LB Jonathan Garvin
72 G Simon Stepaniak
87 TE Jace Sternberger
96 DL Kingsley Keke

Big Snacks (wearing 98) is ACTIVE

Nice, we get to see Snacks right off the bat!

With these CB's out, this is a game where ESB and/or MVS need to make a few plays. Assuming there will be guys covering them that the Bears would prefer see no playing time.

this is a game where we cannot beat ourselves.  its right in front of us, NO: dropped passes. NO:fumbles.  NO: int's. NO: KO returns for a td, we will be good if we can play the way we know how.

Almost gave them the kiss of death with that post.
