Packers and banged up on OL...but Lamar Jackson, even if he plays, won't be 100%.
Packers can't catch a break on injuries...but they just keep winning!

Agree with you Chongo. If he plays, he will be limited based on that football docs assessment. I think to have a realistic shout at hfa, we have to run the table and that starts next week.
Many fans (myself included) were ready to run him out of town for poor production. Nice job by Preston turning it around this season.
If Preston gets three more sacks he earns a $2 million performance bonus. Remember his contract was rewritten to add incentives, potentially earning him MORE than last year with improved performance.
Hope he gets it.
@jonas_shaffer: Lamar Jackson does NOT have a high-ankle sprain, per John Harbaugh. Thatβs βgood news,β he said. The Ravens are preparing as if heβll play Sunday. But theyβll monitor the sprained ankle.

Thatβs insane
So if Lamar plays I foresee a 3rd pick 6 for Rasul.
@ByRyanWood: #Packers coach Matt LaFleur says he's "hopeful" RT Billy Turner can return this season from last night's knee injury. The medical staff is going through evaluations on Turner's knee.

After Smith's 2nd sack Rodgers was holding up 2 fingers. He did the same thing at the end of the game when they hugged. Either Rodgers was telling Preston "Hey man, you got 2 sacks!" or " Hey man, you need 2 more for 2 million!"

Odd season Smith. The question is what to do next year? We know what he does in even seasons.
No spring chicken either. Both Smith's are in similar situations but Z has the higher cap hit. And potentially bad back. Gary can step in for one of them but if they cut ties with both, you're suddenly in need of a #2 edge rusher.
P and Z each have their own risk in keeping on in 2022. The rush has been just fine without Z but then you're banking on P having similar numbers two years in a row. P does play the run better.
P certainly gives the FO something to think about whether or not they want to cut bait with Z. P and Kool Aid Man have provided amble pressure.
Z was wanting an extension/raise before his back injury.
Z is gone. I thought he was a leader for the D, turns out he just likes to flap his lips a lot.
His pass rush is great, but he isn't a team player evidenced by him often ignoring assignments to chase the splash play. That shit's great on a 9-8 team but we need people all in on the team goal.
Agree on Z, seems like his act ran its course ... rarely if ever hear AR praise him (although you hear him praise almost everyone else) the last two years, not voted a captain, his $ will be better spent elsewhere.
Steve Young on Monday Night Countdown saying how the Ravens are depleted by injury (and they are) and how tough they are. Eff you young. I know another team that is as bad off if not more.
I mean, he's not wrong. They have been decimated by injuries. People would probably talk about the Packers injury situation more if they weren't 10-3.

I don't know the dead money on the cap if they cut ties with Z or Preston. But, I sure would think at this point they will cut ties with Z and figure out something to take care of Preston.
As for the Ravens they have been ravaged by injuries maybe even worse than the Packers if that is possible. I looked at their depth chart and they currently have 12 defensive players on IR and on offense they have 10 players as questionable and couple listed as out. But, that being said that team has with the exception of the Bengals game has played it really close.
The ultimate key to me is Jackson's mobility which is a huge part of his game. He is a decent passer but if you make him pass to beat you I like our chances.
Based on performance and availability, if I had to choose, I'd choose Preston. As others have pointed out, our run defense has been better with P Smiff and Gary while still getting a decent pass rush.

Last year. Goldie killed bvan and hijacked his account.
@AaronWilson_NFL: Packers signing Juwann Winfree to the active roster, per his agent, @MikeMcCartney7
Hmmm. Maybe because ESB was concussed and Malik Taylor re-injured himself last game.
Probably should have considered releasing Taylor after his inexcusable special teams gaffe.
The FO has to be frustrated with #19's inability to stay healthy. He and Kevin King. Would be rather surprised to see them here in 2022.
This is what the Packers envisioned when they drafted this young man. He's playing better and better...

Absolutely, they are concerned.
His Dad was a world class weightlifter- I wonder if EQ is just strung a little too tight - like a lifter. Maybe toss in some yoga, flexibility stuff too ?
I also think he's had 4 football concussions, 1 in college and this is his 3rd as a Packer. That's less than ideal
We asked The Raven if the Baltimore Ootball team can beat the Mighty Green Bay Packers this year ?
His answer ? "Nevermore..."
(hat tip to the Alan Parsons Project )

someone needs to report him to PETA. That's not ethical treatment to a bear.

It might happen, keep an eye on the official transactions reports.
They had high hopes for Dawahrah when they drafted him. I think to play the kind of roll Juzkwiskaklynldkpwjfs plays for Shahannigans in SF.
Looks like the added opportunities with Tonyan in the tub has served him well. Still green but looking good.
Huh?
