I also had wondered if Kumorow would be activated but MVS is sliding more and more into the #2 role at WR.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is already the No. 2 receiver – at least he was in terms of reps against the Patriots, playing more than Randall Cobb – so Geronimo Allison's potentially season-ending groin injury shouldn't impact the receiver rotation much.

Some things on the Dolphins.

In a 3 game stretch they gave up 200+ rushing yards a game but the rush D has goetten better

They have 11 players on IR

Tannehill is hurt and not even throwing in practice so it looks like Osweiller will be the starter.

This is just the type of opposition at home MM finds a way to be even more underwhelming. But I’m predicting we look back at this game at end of season as the start of an 8-0 run making GB most feared in the playoffs.

No you don't...Because I have it right here - Haha!

Throughout history the Dolphins have always given the Packers trouble. You can look it up

I didn't look it up, but I think most of the success the Dolphins had were the Don Shula/Marino years.  I think the Pack's had some success against them after those guys were gone and I think they beat them once towards the end of Marino's time there, maybe in '97?

Edit:  I decided to look it up.  Packers never beat the Dolphins until the 1997 season when the Pack would go on to lose Super Bowl XXXII.  For basically the first 30 years of their existence, the Dolphins were undefeated vs. the Pack.  From '97 onwards, Pack is 4-2, but the Dolphins got a win in our 2010 Super Bowl season run.

Has Nick Perry even played this season?  I don't recall his name being called at all the last 3 games.

Nick Perry got his contract, then put that sucker in neutral. As one observer of him noted watching him barely go through the motions in TC this summer, he's the Clit Hunt of the team.

8-0? Bro, what team have you been watching? Better odds at going 0-8.

I know history is history but Boris is spot on.

The Packers are 4-10 all time vs. Miami  and they didn't manage to beat them for the first time until 1997and since then they are 4-2 against them but each game has been pretty close.

Lots of interesting history: Philbin's short tenure as fins HC, AR fakes a clock-killing spike and hits Adams to help pull out a last second win (2014). Yup, last second win. At least they're not playing in Miami.

Martinez's injury looked horrible in real time.  I'm surprised he was able to return that night.  Since he's practicing, it must not be as bad as it looked.  He's coming along, made some really nice plays so far this year.  Our defense is much better with him in the lineup.

Wait, so we should be able to run AND pass against these guys?  Surely we can't mess that up

Well, what if they return every kickoff for a TD?  What if every one of Opie Whizzbanger's punts is blocked?  See, even if our offense and defense are dominant, we could still mess it up!!!

I felt perhaps the parenthetical phrase said it all...

Brock Lobster it is.

Absolutely no reason the Packers should not only win this game, but should also dominate. Anything less, including a loss, that would be the final nail for MM.

My exact thoughts before the San Francisco game.

One thing we have going for us....Miami does not have C J Beathard.
