You could call it a break or you could call it fuck ups by the Saints. Either way, we won. That’s the way the NFL works.

The same is true of the fact that Derek Carr did not finish the game. Who cares? First of all, Gary did his job and knocked the fucker out of the game. If you don’t. Protect your QB that happens. We don’t have to apologize for the mistakes the other team makes. Often those are forced by the Packers themselves.

Between Newman and AJ Dillon, they are doing their best to get JL killed. Dillon blew the protection on the big sack against the Saints and in the process almost took out Runyan. Jones cannot get back soon enough.

Just based on his size alone, you would think Dillon would stand there like a tree and just not be moved. Apparently not. I really hope he gets his shit together soon. He plays a position where you can find quality RB's in damn near any round.

That or the knee has. Which means he’s wasting a roster spot and just IR him at this point.

You really think people would start to understand that Brian Gutekunst knows what he’s doing. None of us really know what’s happening and I, for one, believe Gute will do whatever is in the best interests of the team. For this game, this season, and beyond.

Nobody dislikes current Packer greats like Packer fans. We got that shit locked down.

I never had an issue with packers that left. The only one I did was Favre. But he went scorched earth on the team. Nobody ever did that.  He deserved what he got. I am glad he came back and they honored him but in my mind he did not get the support he would have if he would have handled it differently

I don’t like any of them.😉

So let me see if I understand this correctly about Bakhtiari.

-has the highest pass block rating of any Tackle in week 1;

-he is the sixth highest overall rated Tackle for all snaps in Week 1;

-he has a recent history of knee surgery with multiple complications;

-the team played on shitty artificial turf in Week 2, so fans at the time were “okay” with him sitting that one out (similarly to Jones sitting).

-the team is playing Week 3 with Week 4 only four days later against the most likely divisional challenger/more important game than Week 3 so fans at the time are “okay” with him sitting that one out (similarly to Jones sitting).

-and he hasn’t practiced on a short week (although he basically didn’t practice in preseason).

And for some reason, many fans think he done, or he’s quit on the Packers, or he wants to play with AR in NY, or he murders puppies, or he’s a bad dude, or something.

Brilliant.

Even injured, he’s still one of the NFL’s elite LTs. I’ll give Gutekunst a little leash on this personnel decision.

Let me spin it for you with some additional facts.

The original injury was over 30 months ago.  For those not good at math, that’s over 2 years.  In fact, it’s closer to 3 than 2.

He has had 3 surgeries on the knee since then.

He had no game action this preseason,

He played 50 game snaps 18 days ago and still has not recovered from it.

Now it’s opinion time.  The guy is fun to root for, but it’s become obvious that it’s a poor business decision to rely on him.
