Pretty epic Aaron Rodgers today, I must say. Too much for one tweet. Check out everything later on

@packers Aaron Rodgers to media - "Inside, we don't think the same way you guys think. We don't approach our job scrutinize the same way."

This should be good

Just a feeling I was getting.

Caldwell sounded much more upbeat.

Almost like there is something MM does not want to broach..

Why our offense & AR have sucked is the "something" that he does not want to broach

"No offense, but you guys are predictable," Rodgers said. "We knew when we came in here, and I knew I had this on Wednesday, I knew what the line of questioning was going to be. You guys got a job to do. You scrutinize, you analyze and you make opinions based on how you feel a team is progressing or not progressing or playing. And we appreciate that. But inside, we don't think the same way that you guys think. We don't approach our job and scrutinize the same way. Now we're very honest about our performance and about the way we're playing and about what we've got to do, but we don't worry about the outside opinions."

When asked for his view from the inside, Rodgers said: "I'm not going to because that's an inside-the-locker room opinion and there needs to be a separation between what you guys think about us and what we feel about ourselves. Because our expectations and our opinions of each other and the offense is way more important than your opinion of us. To us."

"The West coast offense is all about timing and if your timing is even just a little bit off, you're going to be miles off at times with your connection points," Rodgers said. "We've been working on that throughout training camp and the regular season but it's a little different when it's live out there and things are a little bit off based on coverage or protection or anything else that could mix up the timing in our offense. So we've got to get back to finding ways to throw it on time and that's only done when we're at the proper break point at the right time and then you can deliver an accurate ball on time so you can eliminate some of those times you've got to hold it because your guy's not at the proper break point and you're putting stress on the offensive line, the protection, and that's something we're working on."

He came close to admitting it's on him but chose to toss the WR's under the bus with the "proper breaking point line instead.

Will never know how much of that is accurate, but I do know his accuracy has been off and he isn't doing a good job of going through his progression.   No mention of that.

Direct shot back at Jennings from his comments with Dipschyt Clueless and Sterling's brother?

GJ on AR: "He watches and hears everything. Not only watches and hears, he listens to it. And personally, I believe that sometimes can be a distraction to a player."

Getting outside all the noise. Mike has to reverse the ongoing NFC North trend. He's 2-4 in the last 6 north tilts. Take away Dick Rods Hail Mary it's 1-5.

Mike needs this game in a bad way. He loses 4 straight home games against the division and he's in trouble.

I'd be happy if the just played respectable football. If another team is better than you and wins so be it. I'm tired of this high school offense against NFL defense crap!

Sorry, but I am too spoiled for that.  I want a GD win!

Rodgers has seen & heard everything since Sunday Night.....

Let's see if he puts it together because any performance less than a 100 QB rating vs. The pitiful Lions defense is completely unacceptable.

Chip....meet shoulder.

Great to see Banjo, Elliott, and Hawkins getting closer to return.
Hate to see Burnett, Matthews, Guion, and Jones hurting. Those are guys we can't afford to lose.
Shields still in protocol is not good.

His testy response to Wilde yesterday was likely not just to Wilde, but to all the talking heads who think they have the answer. Will be very interesting to see how he plays on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to watching the defense . . .

For the record, I do not endorse nor wish violence upon Coach McCarthy.

In my neighborhood  growing -up , a kick in the nuts was just a friendly wake-up call.

It was a greeting in my neck of the woods.

Man that clip is coming in handy.  There's my analysis.

I'm with you. No more hangover. Time to move on to the Lions.

To get balance on offense you need to actually RUN the ball more, as in attempts. Lacy was averaging almost 5 yards per. RTFB!!!

How about picking off Pad Statford about 3 times too.

I agree they need to run the ball and stick to it. I have a feeling that Eddie is the type of runner that he need to get in a groove and not just run a couple of times and then disappear for a quarter.

Need to see more Abby on the field. If the issue as Rodgers said is 'timing', then Abby needs to be out thee. AR has praised him a lot since he's been in GB and it often was related to Abby's precise routes and timing.

If I understand some of Rodger's discussion, he is saying sometimes the receiver's routes are incorrect which of course implies a different take than inaccuracy on his part, the receiver not being where is supposed to be.

Of course, that does not explain the lack of certain routes (such as quick slants) and the seeming lack of doing up progressions or throwing off the back foot.

The Packers are promoting DT Brian Price to the roster. That's the move coach Mike McCarthy was referencing this morning. Explains why CB Robertson Daniel was back at practice. He's likely taking Price's spot on the practice squad.

"we've got to get back to finding ways to throw it on time and that's only done when we're at the proper break point at the right time and then you can deliver an accurate ball on time so you can eliminate some of those times you've got to hold it because your guy's not at the proper break point and you're putting stress on the offensive line, the protection, and that's something we're working on.""

Isn't this the same issue of the past year? The receivers aren't beating the man to man jam. They get hung up or bumped off their route near the LOS and the timing goes to ****.

Maybe GB's offense will get back on track because there will be no one left to play defense for the Lions..

Oh, and RTFB!!!!

ESPN Staff Writer

Devin Taylor a surprise no practice on the Lions injury report with an ankle injury. If he can't play, the Lions would likely start Kerry Hyder and Wallace Gilberry at DE. The defensive injuries continue to mount.

Don't worry. MM will eff this up. I remember another time when the Lie-Downs had a billion injuries vs. Favre & they looked like world beaters.

We can probably expect more of the same.

Yes, I'm disgustingly cynical after the crap we've been forced to watch. F**King unacceptable professional UN-Professional football.

This isn't being "spoiled" either. This Packer team is Super Bowl quality. It's about time they start playing like it instead of making excuses.
