It also helps that Williams can block. Jones is still learning that..

Some clarity to the Packers' running back situation now that Aaron Jones is healthy. Jamaal Williams is still the No. 1 back as he played the majority of the running back snaps on Sunday. Williams excelled in the passing game, catching seven passes for 69 yards. He a receiving and a rushing touchdown.

Bigger Question IMO:

If Rodgers returns this week, will MM commit to the run? I have no doubt he'll say he will. Whether he'll do it is another question. It makes all the sense in the world that even with Rodgers returning, MM should want to run the ball. 1.) It keeps Rodgers vertical  2,) If the Packers can sustain a long, plodding drive via the run that also means GB's defense and their depleted secondary isn't on the field.

Williams/Jones got 19 carries yesterday. I'd hope, if Rodgers plays, they get more then that on Sunday.

Definitely. Would also help relieve the stress of their pass rush (**cough* Spriggs**cough).
If we had a modest goal of 60 plays, I'd hope for at least a 30/30 split.
That may be a tall order against the #3 ranked rush defense.

Win three and we have a 92% chance. Get the No. 2 Seed, win the Wild Card, and go to Minnesota for the Divisional...

Anyway, what makes this game different (and the rest of them), is that Rodgers has the ability to keep the defense in the game by scoring a lot of points. If we go down early, he can get us back early. Instead of being down two scores quick, it should only be one. If we can get up early, the defense gains more confidence.

Each game is likely to be a gut-wrenching shootout. Let's get ready now. Where's my Prozac. Win the toss on Sunday and take the ball.
