Curious as to what/who AR is referring to in his post game regarding, "decisions that were made over the last 48hrs.",  "not everybody taking care of themselves over the two days."

Did guys on this team go out too much in LA?

They know who "they" are. You're not in high school or college anymore. Focus on winning & playing PROFESSIONAL football....Then you can party all off season after you win your last game.

Yes, wondering who he was referring to with those comments. Was he also placing a nudge to MLF to run a tighter ship and make guys more accountable? I don't think Rodgers wants to let things slide again and perhaps he saw some signs of complacency taking hold. One thing is for sure, he doesn't say things in public unless they have a clear purpose.

Read the comments from Steelers fans below the story. They're glad he's gone.

"He’s been with 4 teams now in a short period of time. Seems like we’re beyond “change of scenery” territory."

Since Cam Newton was put in IR the major sports writers say the Panther's season is over. The Packers will either meet the highly determined Panthers or the demorilized Panthers.

The Packers must play like their hair is on fire in either case.

This game will tell us much about the general manager, the coaching staff and the new coach.

I sincerely hope the Packers do very well, I shudder to think what could happen if they loose.

I don't think the Panthers think they're season is over.  They're 5-3 and have been winning with whoever is at QB.  Biggest problem is the best thing they do on offense is the worst thing we do on defense.  McCaffrey up the gut.

Always thought Moncrief was going to be a good one. 4 teams already.....3 teams in 2 years.....attitude problem ?

From ESPN:

By signing Moncrief, the Steelers were likely going to lose a third-round compensatory pick that they initially gained for losing running back Le'Veon Bell. However, by releasing Moncrief before Week 10, the Steelers should regain that third-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.

he got off to a rough start with his new team when a dislocated finger limited him in training camp. He played 90% of the offensive snaps and was targeted 10 times in the season-opening loss to the New England Patriots but had a dismal performance with four drops.

A week later, a pass from quarterback Mason Rudolph went through his hands against the Seattle Seahawks and led to Rudolph's first career interception.

Moncrief never found his footing after that, and he was demoted from the starting lineup in favor of rookie Diontae Johnson the following week. He then was inactive in Week 3 and Week 5 and had just one more catch -- an 11-yard reception against the Los Angeles Chargers.

He finishes his short stint in Pittsburgh with four receptions for 18 yards.

He was an out and out FA bust for the Steelers.

Actually Scareyfast, all the talk I've heard about Newton is how much better the Panthers are without him.  They are 5-1 the last 6 games (since Kyle Allen took over), the only loss to San Francisco.

Newton was 0-8 in his last 8 starts (going back to last year).  They are pretty much the opposite of demoralized.

But nothing about the players?  SMH.

Yep. They're playing good football without the diva. Pack will have their hands full if they don't bring it this week.

not much concern from local Carolina media today. listening to the radio and Panther homers were saying yeah GB is 7-2 but if you watched them play the Lions,Eagles,Chargers they have a number of weaknesses that can be exploited.

Basically we're still a finesse team that can be pushed around, Rodgers and the 52 dwarfs. I hope we rally and punish these guys.

If Bulaga and Bakh (and to some extent the rest of the OL) play like they did against the Chargers, they aren't going to beat anyone. At least in a game where they have to score more than 20 points.

If Bulaga and Bakh play to the level they usually do, they can beat anyone and can put up 40 points.

For all the other crap, that's why the San Diego game wasn't competitive. If you get that much pressure with a 4 man rush and stop the run, you'll stop any team.

Man, the Packers get to play the Chiefs without Mahomes and the Panthers without Newton? Those guys both won MVP's! The Packers are SOOOOOOO lucky! If it's not facing teams with key injuries then they are getting bailed out by the #GBRefs. SOOOOOOOOO LUCKY!!!

Chance? No one forced them to come out throwing.

Yes someone did.   Those who kept committing penalties in the 1st half creating 2nd or 3rd and long situations.

Drive 1 (3 plays for 7 yards) - False start on Bulaga creates 2nd and 16.  Hard to run here.

Drive 2 -  Jones run a 1st down for 5 yards.   Jenkins false start on 3rd n 1 creates 3rd n 6,   They convert,.   Next 1st down of drive, Jones runs for 5 again.  2nd down, false start Bahk.     2nd and 10 leads to two passes and a punt.

Drive 3 - Williams for 5 on 1st down.  Seeing a pattern yet?  2nd down, pnealty on Lazard for 5.   2nd down again, delay of game for 5 more.   2 passes and they convert.    1st down, Jones for 7 yards.....   They get another 1st down here before having to punt,

They don't touch the ball again until the 3rd quarter.

Panthers could potentially save $19.1M against the cap if they trade or release Cam this offseason, per

That's a lot of  $$$$$$$.    do you think his days are over in Carolina ?????

Cam could be dangerous again if he has an OC who knows what to do with him. I don’t think Greg Roman knows what to do with a pocket passer, but dammit he knows what to do with a running QB. I think a guy like Frank Reich could build a great offense around Cam, who IS a talented QB. I think NE might be on him if released also with Brady probably heading out after this year.

Interesting tidbit from Fennell. We'll see if they make an adjustment.

#Packers need to stop the run. They need to play heavier. Against the Chargers... The light front 7 got chewed up.

1 ILB: 27 carries, 146 yards (5.41 average)

2 ILB: 11 carries, 13 yards (1.18 average)

This week, we'll see more BJ Goodson.

As a Packer fan, I would not want him in Chicago next year.

The Packers activated safety Ibraheim Campbell off PUP, ESPN‘s Field Yates reported. Campbell played well last year before he tore his ACL against the Cardinals on Dec. 2. He's back on the roster 11 months later. LB Tim Williams was waived to make room for Campbell.

The team with the better OL and DL has an advantage in cold weather. Is that the Packers?
