See some media pundits are claiming that the Panther defense will give a rusty AR problems. Think it's probably more likely that AR plays well but the weak link on the Packers is the issue- the defense.

What is dumb is we've had success last year with it, ran some fakes off it, then promptly scrapped it. Why?
I see Newton pulling a Kaepernick this Sunday and running for a lot of yards. He ran against the Vikings with success and the GB D is not the Vikings D. Carolina will probably pull out the old film of Kaep running wild, much less Newton being a slightly better passer.
Everyone just needs to keep thinking negatively. It has worked for a victory the last 2 weeks.

Kaep or Cam passing is a toss up to me. They both are inaccurate.
CAR offense can be stopped. Absolutely no reason to believe the Domfense can do that, so they likely do.

I think we all expect the same thing from the D. So it will be up to the O to crank out points to keep up. That will hinge on AR's timing with the receivers and how well MM incorporates 33/30 into the ARO.

Playing the Panthers is going to be a tricky endeavor. While Cam is indeed a quarterback, he's a much better runner than a passer.
The Packers are a much better run defense than pass defense. If they stack the box and force Cam to throw I think they will force some TOs that Rodgers can turn into points.

During the Kaepernick playoff game I just assumed Eric Walden was the guy who messed up and that's one the reasons they let him walk. Walden is still in the league and has 27 sacks the last 5 years. Walden seems to be a Hayward/Hyde case where he has played better after leaving Green Bay.
Walden sucks. Don't let any numbers fool you. I watched him be the same fool for the Colts as he was for the GBP. It amazes me he's still in the league.

Seriously, this D has to realize the season is on the line. Guys like Matthews and Daniels usually rise to these occasions. Just keep AR in the game.

Munnerlyn will play....but Funchess may not. Starting guard ruled out.
The one thing Perry is seriously good at is contain. I hope he's on the field.

Packers need to control the tempo on offers and create turnovers on D to win this game. Trading blows won't get it done as the Carolina D is sneaky good and I am really concerned with the read option and McCaffrey on screens.
The fact we have backup corners and a banged up Perry doesn't help either. This is where having a TJ Watt could really help them put pressure on Cam. If Perry can't go or is limited (which seems like 50% of the time) then Clay is going to need to have a monster game. He looked good last week but we need the vintage CMIII to show up tomorrow.
This should be the perfect game to not need corners.
1 would think. However I would like to have 10/11 or 11/11 preferred starters, especially on defense.
Take nothing for granted. McCaffrey is 10x the player Brad Hoover ever was. Cam is a big guy that's difficult to bring down.
On offense the Pack needs to keep pace & preferably have the lead & keep pressure on the Carloina Offense. Maybe the Pack can generate a couple turnovers to give the Offense some nice field position.
