Could be a fever dream Sunday vs OAK for all those who think XYZ WR haven't had enough opportunities to show their talent.

AR could be forced to throw to Kumerow, Lazard, Shepherd and Grant.  OR we could run another run-heavy offense like we did in DAL, while also adding Jones and Williams to the target list.

Best part of this week was GB beat reporters trying to sell Gruden on the demise of Rodgers stats on the Wednesday conference. Gruden was having none of it. “You guys and stats. These advanced stats. LBR, FBR, QBR. Whatever. C’mon. Aaron Rodgers is a winner. He’s a migician”

Chucky gets it. Just remember Chucky wants to win games by running and controlling TOP. It’s always been his MO.

The best way to beat Aaron Rodgers is keep him on the sidelines.

You run the ball & possess the ball.

Packer defense needs to stop the run just like they did vs. the 🦁🦁 🦁

On offense, it's the J & A show - Williams & Jones. Don't worry about Rodgers....he doesn't have anyone to throw to anyway plus we all know he isn't elite anymore. Just an average QB back there being a good game manager.

I'm not sure the talking heads do any research anymore.

Rodgers played the entire year in 2018 with a broken bone in his leg and still managed to throw for 4400 yards, 25 TDs with only 2 interceptions. He was hurt for more than half of the 2017 season and we got to see what a Packer team without Rodgers looks like when Huntley was on the field.

The last time he was healthy for a full season was 2016, when he threw for 40 TDs against 7 interceptions and got a team with a terrible defense because of a set of DBs worse than many Big 10 teams to the NFC Championship game. That was also the last year he had two legitimate top-level NFL WRs (Jordy in his last good year and Adams in his first good year).

In 2015, the Packers made the playoffs and took the Cardinals to OT in the playoffs off of two Hail Mary passes from Rodgers. He played the end of that season throwing balls to Janis, Abbrederis, a fossilized James Jones, a dinged up Adams, and RichRod.

When he's been healthy and has any semblance of a WR core, he's been as good as he ever was. This year they actually have an OL (as long as we don't have to play Light) that won't get him killed, and when they get Adams back at least one stud WR. Also, MVS and maybe Lazard are better players than Janis and Abbrederis.

Agreed.  I love how being hurt and not playing at all is "not playing well".

Our tackles and linebackers need to keep an eye on Richie Incognito.  Guy was fined for some dirty plays against the Bores.

Burfict, Barr, Incognito should all be out of the league by now.

To be fair to MLF regarding Graham, what are his options?   We got 3 healthy TE's and we play a ton of two TE packages.    98% of the fan base can't name the 3rd TE and do you actually think Rodgers would throw him the ball?

We got to ride this out until Bad Bobby Tonyan gets healthy and he will take a lot of snaps from Graham as the season goes on.

You’re overlooking the other option.  Ride the Marcedes!  He was criminally underused last year by MMC.  But the guy is a great blocker and a clutch receiver. Instead of trying to force the ball to Jimmy G, I think they should give Marcedes more looks.

I'm calling it right now. Lazard responds, gets over 100 yards receiving.

I think MLF is on the JG train riding the rails to a victory. I think Graham gets more  balls thrown his way than Grant and Shepherd combined. I think Jones gets more balls thrown his way than Kumerow does. Lazard will be double covered a lot but I think he will flourish in that situation. Look for a heavy dose of our running game to take the TOP from the Raiders game plan. Packers 31 Raiders 17.

Mercedes has been a plodder his whole career, his experience with that is an advantage. Graham is just now needing to play without the athleticism he once had. The memories don't die easy.

My son and I are making our annual trek over to GB this afternoon to catch the game tomorrow. I'm expecting the Packers D to play a complete game and and shut down the Raider's offense. Should be interesting to see just how creative MLF really is since it sounds like Rogers will be working with the bottom of the barrel again and should have another frustrating day. Look for a lot of short stuff and a low scoring game. Pack comes out on top 17-6.

Historically our team has struggled with QBs who are efficient and have a good run game. Oakland looks like the eagles with that and with good TEs. Our pass rush will come close but the Raiders have a good plan for that. I expect the Packers to struggle and come out on the short end of this game. Rodgers came back against the Eagles with a torrid pass attack but when Adams got hurt it cut the comeback short. This week without Adams I expect that we lose. However, if the backups at WR show up then we just might pull this off. I hope it’s our running backs that take over the game and that we limit theirs. Then we might have a chance.

If the "M" in MLF stands for McVince then maybe.

I think Mayo is trying to find options that consistently work.  I think he will take it where ever he can get it.

The Packers will be playing 3 UDFAs and a guy that's been with them since Wednesday (and was let go by 3 different teams in the last 2 years) at WR.

They will be playing a 32 washed up Jimmy Graham and a 35 year old M. Lewis at TE. Tonyan is questionable, but he's also an UDFA.

This will have to be a game where the Packers grind out drives with Williams/A. Jones and kick some FGs. They need to keep the defense off the field so it doesn't get worn down by Jacobs. The routes of the WRs will have to be kept very simple and Rodgers will again have to minimize mistakes (which he is the best in NFL history in doing).

I have a bad feeling about this game.  The Raiders strengths are our glaring weaknesses.  If they get out to a lead and start pounding the rock with Jacobs, it could be a long day.  And I expect a couple of bogus “make up” calls from the officials to go against us this week.  Lack of a run defense and too many injuries.

13-24

I agree but I think it'll be more like -3 to 75 because Rodgers is a sensitive vegan cancer kicker and the Packers will be penalized 3 points just for walking on the field.

Of course the refs will try to give the Packers the game like they always do but you just can't stop the suck.

They turned the ball over THREE times on Monday Night (-3) and still won.

That won't repeat.

Packers have won....how many straight vs. the AFC?

Yeah..... expect that to continue.

Packers cover the spread easily & win by 20

Three.

One this year and they were 3-1 last year, losing to the Pats.  The year before they were 2-2, losing the Baltimore and Pittsburgh. In 2016, they were 2-2 against the AFC South. In 2015, they were 3-1 against the AFC West.

Nothing really spectacular about their recent play against the AFC.

MLF has been here 6 games.  Do you mean 6 games of history?  Pettine's season and a half?

All this talk of Rodgers having nothing but UDFA receivers is nonsense. We're talking about one of the best of all time QB's in the league. You see UDFA guys doing great stuff every week in the league and I think guys like Lazard can be one of those.  If Brady can get it done with no-name guys, Rodgers can too.

Plus, it's the Raiders.  Can anyone name one raider defensive back?

Another plus, it's in Lambeau.  Pack, 27, raiders 13

5 out of their last 6 vs. AFC -- & they have won 7 in a row vs. the Ray-Duhs. You can look it up.

Nothing really spectacular though.

Like I said....This is an easy one.

Weak.  Go take lessons from Sackus.

My son is trying to get his CA drivers license. First "behind the wheel driver test" is late December close to home. CA DMV is bullshit.

So I booked a driving test in Eureka CA Monday morning. 5 hour drive. Quickest test I could find.

Told my son and he said, "Can we leave at 1 Sunday? I want to see GB beat Oaklands ass"

GB above driving freedom. I've done well.

So the DMV is more incompetent than your electric utility....if California is a bell-weather state for the rest of the country, I don’t like my future.

Mostly before MLF. But some this season as well.
