Best defense in football is Baltimore but they have Joe Flacco. Chiefs defense is pure ass. Forget what Andy Reid might **** up in the playoffs. That defense is 100% pure ass. The Rams have a great OL. A running game. An all time front 4 without much behind it.

Rams should go deep in the playoffs. Chiefs should trade a second for Clinton Dix (random sub plug). Ravens will be right there in January unless Flacco ****s it up.

Cousins will **** everything up based on him mindlessly throwing a backwards pass into the ground in a close game yesterday for no ****ing reason. He’s forever going to **** things up because he can’t help it and he’s guaranteed rich now.

Got to go with the Rams as favorites. Then Baltimore because of that defense. Then the field.

And i hate to bring up one team but as long as they are in the thick of things you just cannot count them out and that is the Patriots.   I hate to say it but to me they will always be the favorite until someone beats them.

Baltimore to me is an interesting team.  Really good defense and I might be in the minority but I don't get why people hate Flacco. To me he is very under rated.

The Chefs?  Incredible offense but at some point you are going to have to play some defense consistently and that is the Saints to me as well.

Spermheads?  they seem pretty banged up but if they can get healthy and keep Cousins from losing his mind they can contend.

Rams to me are really the front runner they have a pretty good offense but at times their D can get gashed but over all I think they should be the favorites.

I don't think NO needs to be 7-1 to convince anyone they are a contender or in the "driver's seat" in the NFC.  I'll wait until after Thanksgiving to see who is making a push.  Could be NO, LAR, CAR...?  Doesn't look like the E has anyone right now.  I have to say, of all the gray beards still playing QB, Brees still moves and looks ten years younger.

I've said before, KC has jumped out of the gate gangbusters before and faded late or in the post season so we'll see.  Their D has been up and down so they can either keep improving and become a complete team in Dec. or they can suffer a few injuries and collapse.  Offense will only take them so far, even if they are cooking with rocket fuel.  NEP just know how to get it done in the playoffs.  Gronk + Morgan give them a real O again and who knows what their D will look like in 6 weeks.  JAX seem to be in a free fall.   BAL needs an identity on O.  LAC are often a tease but they could jump.

I think we will beat the Rams. Coming off our Bye week, we may have forgotten how porous our O line has been. If the O line can play together for 4 quarters, if ARod has time to throw and our RBs find holes to exploit, we can win this game. This could be the game where ARod throws to open receivers underneath the coverage to move the chains. The Rams do not want to go undefeated this season. A loss to the Packers is just what they need to refocus their efforts for the 2nd half of the season and push them into the play offs. I want the Rams to play well, after this game, so they can beat the vikings, soundly, if both teams face each other in the playoffs. The Packers will have Home Field advantage in the playoffs, so we won't need to worry about playing away from Lambeau. GO PACK, GO!!!

I’m flying to CA Thursday to visit my brother and there will be 9-10 of us going to the game. Does anyone know of any Packer tail gates in or around the coliseum before the game?  We are willing to pay - not trying to mooch. Or links to tail gate possibilities. Thx.

Instead of self scouting as MM professes the Packers do during the bye week, I hope they also took time to watch some tape of the Chiefs' and Rams' offenses, to get an idea of what 21st century, innovative offense is like.

OK, you lost me there.

I am guessing that he's thinking the Pack would have homefield if they held the head to head advantage, not realizing that their overall record will likely put them in the driver's seat.

The way this season has worked out so far, I'll say the Rams and 'Aints are in the driver's seat for HFA. If we can win our division, we might get a home playoff game for the first round, but otherwise will be on the road.
Again.
Because we lose to teams like the Loins and 'Skins.

Getting Cobb, Allison, and Alexander back will be a great, needed help.  Having Breeland suit up on game day is an extra bonus, I hope.

Of course, all of them are still listed as questionable, but at least they're practicing.

GB's only hope is for the WC but shit, I can't get off the idea that they're pretty much doomed without a pass rush anyway and this is just not the year for high expectations.

We can say shit now?

You can say shit now.

I think a division win is not out of the question at all. It’s not like the Bears, Vikings or Lions are playing lights out football right now. We’ve already beaten 2/3 of them and we have 3 games to go. Plenty of football left to put away the division.

I totally agree this is not a year for high expectations since they are gluing things back together BUT without any basis in logic, I believe the Packers will win this specific game.  Why?  Because these are the games they just explode then go on to lose to Jets or the like.

This is a potential playoff team, just not a very good playoff team.  The NFC North as a whole is the shoot yourself in the foot division.

This game may tell us more about the Rams than the Packers.  Rams undefeated, midseason, heavily favored at home.  Teams without a certain mettle are known to trip in these situations.  So we got them right where we want them!

I'm kind of looking at the next 6 weeks as 'working games' that would be nice to win but really are more valuable as opportunities for GB to improve.  They need to win a certain % of them to remain in the hunt but above all, they need to go into Dec a much better team than they currently are.

That's kind of the MO, drag their asses into the playoffs (if they make it this year).  Like you said, the learning element could be really interesting.  If the young guys can start putting it all together they may actually have a level of consistency in the playoffs on defense that has absent for years on end.  While it probably won't carry them too far (if they make it) it bodes well for next year when they actually get some pass rushers.

It's hard to discount any particular scenario with this team but the one constant for this year is learning.

The Packers have played 30 such games on the road since the start of the 2012 season & have 12 wins over that timeframe. Making them 12-18.

I have NFI where Rodney is pulling his stats, but it's dramatically incorrect & I'm guessing the "stat" he saw probably is missing the ONE in front of the "2" wins

It's the same as Rodgers 0-30 record when trailing in Q4 to a team coming into the game with a winning record (or something like that). It's completely made up.

I like some of MR's takes and analysis but he's become a really dark cloud, constantly railing and throwing shade on GB.  Not that he is mostly incorrect but it wouldn't kill him to put out something positive once in a while.

12-18 sounds much more likely. If they were only 2-18 that would mean like 20 of 50 games were against teams with non winning records. I mean I guess it's possible but not likely they would face so many teams with losing records.

Then again they are in the same division as the Lions, Bears and Vikings.
