Which worries me that this guy will look at Dom beating a terrible Bears team and an inept Raven's offense and think everything is OK with Capers...

Been the story with the defense for years- average to below average QBs they can handle but the better ones destroy the secondary. Bear receivers running open all day yesterday they just didn't have the right guy pullin' the trigger.

yup.  but need not worry.  there will be plenty more opportunities for the D to remind everyone of the situation.

Ravens have the worst offense in the NFL?  So that means that Flacco and the Ravens WR's should go for over 300 yards just like clockwork against Dom's defense.

At least Mike will get to see what  a top defense looks like  up close and personal! 

I see Dr. Pat is "forcing" Ty to play this week. 

Let's hope he plays for GB.

Baltimore has the #6 total defense, and a  very inept offense (#30).  I don't know how we will fare, but if GB's defense can get off the field on 3rd downs once in a while (I know, I know), I think we'll have a fighting chance.  Not sure how the offense will do, but like others have said, keep Rip in the backfield for a 2 back set.  He's no William Henderson, but GB's fullbacks used to help open some huge holes against Baltimore. 

BAL DEF rank: 6th in total yards, 3rd in passing yards, 8th in pts, 28th in rushing yards.

So, I expect McCarthy to throw 3 straight plays on their first possession.

Mark it down.

We're gonna beat the Ravens.

It could be ugly.

This is pretty much a **** scenario.  Offense just has to be good enough to beat Wizarding and a defense can pretty much shut down a backup QB and shuffling run game.  

I never thought I'd be excited about a long snapper signing.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The long-snapper carousel will continue for the Green Bay Packers, who are expected to go back to where they started the season.

Veteran Brett Goode, the Packers’ primary snapper since 2008, will re-sign with the team Tuesday as long as the hamstring injury that knocked him out in Week 3 is healed, according to a source. The source said the medical check is expected to be routine and that Goode will snap in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Theory: Packers anticipating getting most of Bennett's $igning bonus back so they cut then re-signed DM and gave it to him.

Injuries: SF has 18 on IR, Ravens have 16, Packers have 9 (10 if  Bulaga is IR'd).

Ravens had 14 on their last injury report and are just starting to get healthy coming off bye. Flacco is just an average Joe in my book, looking for Packers to take another step forward after win in Windy City and beat the Ravens forevermore.

If Brett “Hesitation” Huntley can identify his receivers quickly like he did in the 4th quarter and not lock on the primary read with his eyes, he will do well. However, if the ravens defense blitzes early and often he will struggle. Our run game is the key to the offense. The defense will need to limit points. I expect that they will give up lots of yards on screens and passes to the middle of the field. Please just limit points and we will do ok.

If I'm MM im working the screen and draw game all week in practice.    I'm sure the Ravens have seen the same thing we have seen and that is that the kid can't recognize where the blitz is coming from.     

If we catch them and time it right, there are big play Ops there and doesn't require a highly skilled QB to execute it.  

Bretty Hundley's best formation is clearly going EMPTY...

The big difference is that Tony Soprano would have "disposed" of Dominic Capers a long time ago.

Oh and her is hoping the Harbag brothers are 0-2 in the state of Wisconsin this weekend!

Wait for it... no surprise to see Perry on the list.    But geez, another OL in McCray? And King with a shoulder? Time to IR Brooks as "worthless signing."

Brooks wants that so he can go to New England.

McCray got hurt in the Lions game, not a new injury, he will play. 

Brooks did some good things vs CHI.  Hope he continues to heal as he is valuable for our anemic pass rush.

concur.  when Brooks has been healthy and in the game, granted not much this season, he's been a force.  hopefully he can get healthy and work more.  he's only about a million times better than fackrell.

Got to disagree on the comparison here YA, I don't recall Worthy being given as much meaningful playing time without earning it like Fackrell this season.

I think a better comparator is Jerron McMillian.

Like Fackrelll, McMillian was draft pick (3rd round Fackrell, 4th McMillian) who did very little as a rookie.

In their second seasons, Fackrell was elevated to replace Julius Peppers who was allowed to walk this season, just like McMillian who replaced Charles Woodson after he departed to Oakland without an offer from the Pack (in 2013).

I also seem to recall McMillian was released not long after he was absolutely lost playing in a prevent defense against the Ravens in his second season.

With Biegel and Brooks getting healthy and up to speed, this Sunday's game against Baltimore might also result in Fackrell's banishment.
