Almost a year to the date when Demetri Goodson blew out his knee, he was back on the practice field Wednesday, opening up a three-week window where he can remain on PUP but still practice. The fourth-year cornerback tore his ACL and MCL in a gruesome... https://t.co/2boRxVTGWx

sorry, but why? nothing personal Goodson, but the NFL is a young man's game and you're damaged goods, and you were never anything spectacular. why they continue down the road with him is a mystery.
I feel the same way TDog....
The Packers have 2 openings on the 53, correct? Bulaga and fu** face Bennett?
With Spriggs and Goodson coming off PUP.... I'm guessing those 2 will take both those positions. And then Rodgers would have to boot another player if in fact he returns for the last 2 games...

Wasn't Chicago #8? Need a heavy dose of Williams/Mays and Hundley needs to play all four quarters like he did in the fourth against the Bears.
****ing Goodson.
Brooks is a waste of a roster spot. Injured/inactive most of his time in Green Bay. Jumped offsides when he was in last week. Inexcusable.
Exactly. If signing free agents doesn't immediately put us in the superbowl we shouldn't do it, and players who jump offsides that one time are prime examples of "not getting you immediately in the superbowl."
That only counts for players drafted in the top 10, not free agents. Free agents should actually play and make plays,
Brooks' fault he got injured after being pretty much injury free for almost a decade?
Perry wouldn't have had the game he had without Brooks and CM on the field.

The Packers worked out former Wisconsin running back Dare Ogunbowale. Makes sense give the injuries to Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery.
Almost a decade, age catches up in this violent game.
If only there were a way to get out ahead of that "age catching up".
Like a system for bringing in new, younger players. One team could pick a guy, then another team. Maybe even base it on record.
If only there were a way
The draft is a crapshoot. Drafting early doesn't equal a team getting better. Drafting high doesn't always get you in the playoffs. Green Bay and New England are proof of that. Drafting Football players rather than the Heisman players will get you a better team.
We've been arguing to draft all the Heismans forever on this forum, it's practically all we talk about.
I guess to make it clearer, I should have said media hyped players.
There have been various arguments here about drafting "football players" vs combine stars. I remember some of TT's "athlete" picks not turning out well and the masses crying for football players. Then he drafts football players who end up being too slow and everybody starts crying for faster athletes.
Just to summarize. Everybody wants faster, more athletic draft picks with great combine stats who are also "just good football players". Should be easy to find at the bottom of every round.
Ravens declare LT Ronnie Stanley (concussion) is doubtful to play Sunday. That would be huge loss for Ravens.

#Packers list four players as OUT vs. Ravens: S Morgan Burnett, RB Ty Montgomery, RB Aaron Jones, T Bryan Bulaga.
