I think he does a lot of great charity work. Dix is a good guy, probably a great athlete, not a great football player.

Seems like a great kid, would not describe him as a great athlete, probably about average for the position. I just don't think he has the love / drive for football. You see most players continue to gain strength through the first 1-3 years in the league through teams weight training programs. Ha Ha looks exactly the same physically to me since he came in the league. He has to be one of the physically weaker safeties in the league.

NFL trending down due to a number of factors

I think that is true right now to some extent and the stadium experience just might not be worth it right now.  I lived in DC for a long time and the stadium "experience" at Fedex isnt that great.  It is a royal pain to get to especially from Virginia, it is extremely expensive and you get to watch crappy Daniel Snyderbrenner teams.  The Redskins fans friends of mine tell me it just isnt worth it going to see them in person anymore they are tired of spending the money on a team that has 4 or 5 winning seasons in the last 20 years.

I would bet that FedEx won't be as empty this week with all the Packers fans that will be there.  Including me

I think TDOG is right.  Groins are pretty essential to CB play and they're not something that position can play with when limited.  I think they can get by without him vs. WAS, BUF and SF.  But they're really going to need him back for LAR and NEP.  After that they really only have ATL and MIN to worry about.

I don't know why MM wouldn't throw Jones out there more. Fresher legs. Much more of a shifty/scat type back vs Williams.

More "We do what we do" stubbornness.

Fans are using caution and slowing down before entering the intersection when they see so many yellows.

The MNF game was a ratings disaster.

The flags issue, the disrespect to the American flag, plus the yellow flag. The new protect the QB rules are an obvious attempt at more offense.

If you see the political affiliations the bulk if the NFL HQ has you know why they cannot right the ship. Sorry to be factual, but it is fact.

Get Jones in there instead of Haha.

Not exactly sure this is an improvement.  Jones hasn't shown squat.

I agree, I don't think he has much of a role right now, especially if Burks is available.   Burks should fill the role that Whitehead is currently playing IMO.   The LB / S hybrid in the box.

I guess it could depend on the matchup, I just don't have a lot of love for Jones at the moment.

I’m not necessarily in a group that thinks this game is going to be as easy as others have alluded. Need to see a much bigger body of work on defense and also hope Rodgers injury isn’t too much of a limit. Last week I think was a focused **** you payback effort. Let’s see how they perform as a favorite in a game they should win. Effort needs to persist. We’ve seen it before. Prove us wrong.

Well for starters, I'm betting Clay Matthews gets his one tackle early this week so as not to affect the outcome of the game by drawing a PF flag.

I don't think any game this year is going to be easy.  The Packers are patching holes and the young guys brought in are still rookies.  I think the Morrison signing was pretty respectable to help the inside run game but there simply won't be any pass rush from the outside this year.
