I wouldn't mind seeing GB with about 50 rushing attempts, and run those sh!tpigeons right into the Puget Sound. Something that would make Tecumseh Sherman  proud.

I agree. Run AJ over and over until somebody proves they can stop him. The only thing that has stopped him so far is McStubbornPant’s playcalling (or AR’s audibles) and a little whacky tobaccy.

sh!tpigeons.  I think Seattle, is about as vulnerable as they ever have been, the Rams beat the u know what out of them, and the Rams wanted more after the horn blew.

You mean the game they lost 31-36 and played them as close as GB did?  I think SEA is the better team right now and it will take GB playing their best mistake free game to leave with a W.

I read Skully's post to mean it was a very physical game (you know how division games go) and the shitpigeons may be worn out quite a bit given the short week.

But I do agree with you that GB has to play their best to beat Seattle at home during prime time.

Found on the internet: There are plenty of reasons to fear Packers running back Aaron Jones, but the biggest is that he’s gaining 10 or more yards at a greater clip than any other back in the NFL. Jones leads the league in average yards per carry (6.8), but it’s not because he has a bunch of long runs. He has 18 runs of 10 or more yards on 73 carries, which means he breaks one of 10 or more every 4.06 times he carries the ball. Most backs aren’t even close to that average. Todd Gurley gains 10 or more every 7.07 per game, Kareem Hunt every 7.6 and Ezekiel Elliot every 7.0. The closest back to Jones is San Diego’s third-down back, Austin Exeler (4.21), and the closest starter is his teammate Melvin Gordon (5.21). β€œAaron Jones is doing a nice job carrying the football,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. β€œHe’s averaging almost seven yards a carry so that’s really a problem that we’re concerned about. That balance makes it harder to take your plan to stopping Aaron Rodgers.”

There’s a danger McCarthy will get snookered into believing he can throw the ball against the Seahawks after watching the Rams, Lions and Broncos put up nice passing numbers. Everyone thinks they can pass against the Seahawks because they play the same coverage down after down, have young cornerbacks and are missing all-world safety Earl Thomas.

But even with the Seahawks consistently playing a safety in the box and possessing one of the best inside linebackers in the game in Bobby Wagner, teams have been successful running on them.

They rank tied for 18th in rushing yards allowed, which isn’t horrible, but they’ve allowed 140 or more yards rushing in five games this season. They rank 29th in the NFL in yards allowed per carry (5.0) and are allowing an average of 5.39 yards per carry on first and 10.

More so, this is about the Packers building on their 195-yard, two-touchdown rushing performance against Miami. It was the sixth time this season they’ve topped the 100-yard mark rushing but remarkably the backs finished with fewer than 20 carries, the sixth time this season that has occurred.

It’s almost unfathomable that the Packers rank first in the NFL in yards per carry (5.2) and 27th in average rushes per game (22.3).

Trevor Davis wasn’t the answer to shaky special teams before he was hurt. He’s not the answer to shaky special teams now.

Firing Ron Zook is the answer to fixing shaky special teams. Been that way for a while.

Mike held on to Zook and Moss for reasons I’ll never be able to comprehend other than that’s Mikes MO.

That's a popular narrative peddled by a certain (orange) political figure. That it has no basis in fact really doesn't seem to matter.

Be that as it may. I still think TNF sucks and there is too much NFL on TV. Oh and since you invited the response....ahem...MAGA!

When can I expect the 10% middle class tax cut he is working on?  As I recall he said he would reveal it last week.  I guess he is busy with infrastructure week.

I wager big bucks the opening play will be a play action fake to Jones and a bomb.
