I think the Packers lose this week too. I don’t think the defense has hit bottom yet. I don’t think the offense has recovered from the ass whoopin they endured last week. Those kinds of shellackings have a hangover effect, and their confidence sure look shook after the game.

Part of learning how to win is learning how to handle a loss. Would love to be wrong of course, but I’ve seen this movie before...

I must have been asleep in the part of the movie where the Packers lost two games in a row under LaFleur.

Linsley added to injury report

I can't doom-and-gloom yet, but if there is anything that can neuter our offense, it would be OL woes.
I have confidence in Patrick, Runyan, and Wagner to get the job done until I see otherwise, but defending the likes of JJW is a tall order even for the better OL-men around the league.

That’s fair- but football has been football for a long time. I’m hopeful that a hangover isn’t coming, which is how I felt after the game. But man... they’re really beat up and the talk of a bad week of practice leading into the game makes me think there’s something wrong that a week isn’t going to solve.

If Bak can't go I expect to see Jenkins at LT

I think Jenkins is good enough to handle LT.  Hell, his performance out there might give the Packers some options moving forward in FA regarding Bak.

Similar to the Failcons the Texans have talent and are probably better than their record indicates.   The Packers need to come out and set the tone from the beginning and not let up.  Don’t give Houston any reason to think they can win.

Rest him and give the carries to Dillon.

The concern would be how limited Dillon might be in the passing game, both in running patters out of the backfield and in picking up the blitz. Obviously, given his size he should be physically very capable of picking up a blitzing LB, it's just whether he knows the audibles, etc.

The Packers weakness on offense (assuming Rodgers gets a normal about of time to throw) is that the non-Adams receivers don't consistently stretch the field. Putting Jones out wide helps overcome some of that. Without him, those safeties and LBs are maybe a step or two closer to the LOS. Dillon may be tough to bring down, but not as much if they are stacking the LOS.

I like Kevin King's play- when he plays. It's looking like he's just not up to the rigors of the NFL game. I had him down as one of the 3 FA we needed to keep. But if he's only available 50% of the time...
