Sternberger has been essentially invisible this season but a decent block here. It'll be interesting if AJ Dillon gets more work:

Jace needs to step TFU...blocking shouldn't be his highlight at this point in the season.

Not bad production for less then 3 years in the league:

Burgess, an undrafted free agent out of Louisville in 2017, has played in 27 career regular-season games, including 10 with the New York Jets last season. He has 163 tackles, 21 tackles for losses, eight pass breakups, 4.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits and two forced fumbles in his NFL career.

The Packers will be Burgessโ€™ eighth NFL team. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad last Tuesday.

Mike Pettineโ€™s defense remains thin at inside linebacker. Christian Kirksey is on injured reserve, Kamal Martin has yet to be activated from injured reserve and Krys Barnes briefly left Sundayโ€™s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Packers have an open roster spot and will not have to make a corresponding move.

As a starter in New York last season, Burgess tallied 80 tackles, eight tackles for losses and an interception. As a rookie in Cleveland in 2017, he produced 75 tackles, four sacks and 12 tackles for losses.

Damn. This dude has had quite the journey.

One day in the spring, Williams pulled a picture off the wall in his office and brought it to a meeting. He told the players about Burgess and his story of perseverance. In the photo was a cracked Browns helmet, worn by Burgess on Nov. 19, 2017, the day he recorded 15 tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack against the Jaguars. Mind you, this show-and-tell session took place before Burgess was on the Jets.

"His helmet looked like back when I played. It was crushed and broken," said Williams, so moved by the performance -- and the fractured artifacts -- that he made sure it was photographed and saved.

In the olden days of Timesfour there was a poster named โ€œCrackedhelmetโ€. He was a good guy, pretty funny.  There was also a poster named โ€œViking Girlโ€. She was okay for quite a while but got More and more passive-aggressive as time went on.
the two met at a x4 meating and eventually got married.

I think Fedya is alluding to the headline commenting on a โ€œbroken helmetโ€.
