The Packers are converting third-and-long situations (more than 6 yards) at a 42.9-percent clip, which is second-best in the NFL. This is an improvement after being 18th last season and 24th in 2018.

The offense converted third-and-9, third-and-10 and third-and-7 situations on Sunday in Houston. QB Aaron Rodgers is averaging 10.3 yards per attempt on third down, which leads the NFL.

Let's hope THAT continues!

Tough to pay him a starting caliber salary when you can't stay on the field. This goes back to his college days. On the plus side, unless there's an idiot owner who grossly overpays, the Packers could make him a pretty average offer in 2021 and he may have no choice but to accept it.

So youโ€™re saying keep the fragile flower because heโ€™d be cheap? Iโ€™d rather have a player like A.J. Hawkโ€”-always available 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.

MLF is so good, forcing the Vikings to gameplan for ESB!

I mean, sure the gameplan is laughing uncontrollably, but who knows, maybe they hyperventilate and pass out game time after seeing ESB starting!

King is a pretty good CB, but the reality is until proven otherwise, you are likely only getting him for about 12-14 games per year. And of course, you want to do everything you can to be sure he's healthy for playoff and December football.

His availability has to play into his contract as well. I'm fine with the Packers extending him, but it has to be an incentive driven contract based on availability.  Otherwise, some idiot owner can overpay him for games he will not be there for.

Their best CB might just be the wind.

I am not an advocate for running up a score, but if this game turns to a 34-17 or a 35-10 type game or better entering the 4th Q, on a short week the Packers should love nothing more then to pull nearly all their key starters.
