I know careful what you wish for, but I really wanted to watch GBP beat on AP tomorrow but he blew that by rushing back last weekend (which is what I thought would be the case against us). per pft: Running back Adrian Peterson didn’t practice the last two days and expressed uncertainty about his status for Saturday’s game against the Packers due to the combination of groin and knee injuries that sidelined him in those sessions. A roster move on Friday doesn’t do much to create optimism about Peterson making it into the lineup at Lambeau Field. The Vikings have promoted running back C.J. Ham from the practice squad to go with Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata as non-Peterson options in the backfield.

Peterson's done in Minny. If they are out of it, which hopefully happens tomorrow, AP may get a fourth-quarter carry in the last game against Chicago just so fans can cheer him one last time.

Although, thinking about it now, Zimmer's not exactly a player's coach and may just keep him out anyway. Fitting.

I'm glad Peterson is out. Not just out for this game, but likely out of Minnesota. He's not worth anywhere near what the Vikings are paying him now, but he could still be dangerous for a couple more years if he gets an incentive laden contract. He always seemed to play his best games against the Packers.

Adrian is 6-10 against GB. 58-48 against everyone else. 10-4 against the Lions. 8-6 against Chicago.

Everyone brings their best against GB. Every week. Been that way for a long time.

Wasn't that the year Minny lost by 14 in the playoffs to GB? ****. I don't know. All these playoff years kind of blend together. **** it's hard to keep track of what playoff game happened when.

The one thing I DO remember from that game is the sheer visceral outrage from Minny fans that **** would have been far different if first round pick Christian Ponder would have played. Minny fans know player talent like no one does.

**** Minny. And **** Adrian Peterson.

Yeah, dangerous to Minnesota's cap.

Lets see...we have little to play for, short week, Vikings angry, key players hurt or underperforming, Special teams Zooked, MM's one bonehead call at critical time...hum . Vikings over the Packers by a fieldgoal. 20-17

or maybe not

Not sure if this is right but I know Peterson had a fumble last Sunday. How fitting would it be if Peterson's last carry as a Viking was a fumble.     He was so good at doing that, especially at critical times.

While taxiing after a safe landing, the team plane slid off the runway and became stuck. We are waiting patiently to exit the plane.

Oh great, way to give Vikings fans excuses for when the team loses so badly.

I know, Chilli. I get all the playoff games mixed up too.

Wasn't Brent's last pass as a Packer a Pick?

And his last pass as a Jet. Unfortunately. His last pass as a Viking was a concussion. On a college field. Because the roof of their stadium collapsed. But he still mustered up the playground spirit to tell Peppers to beat Green Bay in the playoffs.

FF.

His last playoff pass was an INT.  " I don't believe what I just saw!  This ain't Detroit man , this is the Super Bowl!"

We could all decide 2010 didn't count for Brett because he admitted to coming back for the money. So his last pass that he actually cared about as a Viking was a pick.

Then again coming back in 2010 got Childress fired.

Im torn on this one.
