Iconic star of Spartacus and dozens of other movies dies at 103

Having blogged about movies for a dozen years now, I've got a lot of screen caps from one movie or another, showing off his range:

I'm sure that sometime after 31 Days of Oscar ends, TCM will have a 24-hour salute to Douglas.

Douglas's role in defeating the Hollywood Black listing of actors, writers and directors should not be overlooked. "Spartacus" put the nail in the coffin of the Black List, when Douglas gave credit to Dalton Trumbo, a Black List victim, as the script writer for that film.

People are complicated. Douglas was also linked to less savory aspects of Hollywood culture.

Just pointing this out.  The article you linked was penned by "The Glen Beck Program".

To your point, humans are indeed perplexing, ever changing.  Anyone that says their god or their satan resides in heaven or hell and are powerless against either are idiots.

I despise Glenn Beck. I just picked up the top hit on Google.

Here is something from a more mainstream journalism outlet (The Guardian). The rumor/allegations have been around a long, long time.
