Cam is stopped early by a Bishop INT, and Rodgers mixes pass and run to cut into their defense at will. TD passes to Driver and Finley in the first quarter alone, 28-3 at the half, subs come in midway through the third quarter, Green gets his first NFL TD, House gets his first NFL INT, Panthers get some garbage times TDs, final 48-17 Green Bay.

I hope he at least plays; he's beginning to remind me of Justin Harrell.

Pack 41

Panthers 17

Big day for Jennings, AR and Starks with another solid outing from Cobb. Defense gets in on the scoring with a pick-six.
I'm thinking about putting some coin on the over, but I don't know if the Panthers can score enough. I don't think I will ever be on the under this year with the Pack. For this ganme, I will refrain from greed and just go Pack -10.

Pack 27
Panther - 13
38-17 Packers. Flynn get's some snaps in the 4th.

I see Finley with 11 catches for 105 and 2 TD's. He's should absolutely be able to exploit the middle of that D on Sunday.

WOTTO!!! (baby steps)
Panthers score early, probably on their first or second drive, as the result of a couple big plays by Steve Smith and maybe a scramble or two by Newton. Packers score touchdowns on three first half possessions. Touchdowns to Starks, Finley, and Driver.

21-7 Packers at half.

Pack runs away with it at half. Woodson scores on a pick six, Matthews and Raji get a couple sacks, and Rodgers pisses off his fantasy owners as Starks/Grant grind out the clock the entire 4th quarter combining for over 150 yards rushing.

Pack wins. 42-14.

The Charlotte paper said a rookie would start in his place, backed up by another rookie. Either one would be protecting a rookie quarterback. Hmm . . . maybe Woody and Bloodline will blitz a time or two.

Are you sure you are refering to a player?

It seems that whatever the outcome, a couple things are sure to happen if GB wins - and I think they will:
1) The final score will be close enough so the defense has to come to the rescue at the end of the game.
2) GB needs 25+ rushing attempts - Just enough so the opposing defense can't key on the pass all the time and allow the play action to work.

Last year, when GB increassed their rushing attempts in the second half of the year by an average of 7 per game, they were less effective running the ball. But AR was much better passing the ball. The big difference from last year is that now GB has a much better chance of doing more with the run than last year - production wise.

My guess: 35 - 27. Unless of course Cam the man falls apart in the face of a ball hawking and blitzing defense. Then the difference would be greater.
Interestingly, I've been reading a book to my daughter about "Cam Jansen", a 10 year old girl with a photographic memory who solves mysteries. The mystery here being how the other Cam threw for 422 yards last week, when this game he throws 3 interceptions. He does manage to run one touchdown in.

Panthers 13
Packers 41

That question is so "Hollywood", bro.

Ewe r the only won who gits it.
If the Pack and the Panthers played 10 games, I think the Pack wins 8 or 9 of them.

But something in my gut tells me this will be one of those "Brad Hoover" type games where someone unexpected on Carolina runs rampant on our battered defense that likely will be missing 3 starters (Neal, Williams, Zombo). The Pack brings their D or F game to this one and it ends up being 30-27 Carolina.
