Rodgers picks up where he left off week 1, finishes 23 - 31 for 310 and 4 tds (1 rushing) Starks plays a major role (16 carries to Grant's 9) and he runs for 90 yards and a score.

Packers have a field day, Newton throws 3 ints but has a rushing TD,

Packers 38 Panthers 14

Go Pack!
Pack is -10 and the over / under is 46. Whats your take?

I'm guessing under and the pack to cover. I can't see Cam Newkid on the block putting together any long drives against Capers, with or without Tramon. The only way it gets over is if there is a special teams TD or defensive score by the Packers.

Packers may look to exploit the weak middle of the Panthers D with 2 rookies inside on the DL and no Beason. Throw in the new and improved interior OL for the Packers with Lang, and I think they run the ball more than normal.

Donatell is no Capers.

2 of those 3 starters missed the NOS game as well and the Packers won... CAR is nowhere near as good as the Saints.
GB wins 31-21.

Williams will be missed, but I think the middle of the Panthers defense is too vulnerable. Unless Carolina can figure out how to get quick pressure on Rodgers, I don't see how anyone can slow down GB's offense. Maybe cover 2 will work for a while, but, really, how do you slow these guys down?

Now we have a punt returner who can actually do something besides call for a fair catch. Field position should be better all year. This will be fun to watch.
Trap game written all over it. First home game for boy wonder at QB. Lots of press about how we're going to dominate. Don't like this recipe at all.

Defensively, I'm not at all confident that we can produce much of a rush yet, our blitzing simply isn't effective yet, and Tramon hurting further makes this a challenge.

Hate this game. Think this will be the one that makes people jump off cliffs.

Carolina 27
Green Bay 24

If you hate this game, how are you going to like the other 7 road games?

These doomsday predictions are ridiculous: 38 - 17 Packers.
I agree.

Who, exactly is going to get "trapped"? Rodgers? Who picked up this year right where he left off, and still needs to prove he belongs in the Pro Bowl, and who got outgunnned last week by Brady and Brees?

The receivers, who are fighting for playing time? Finley and Grant, who missed all of last year?

The defense? Who gave up tonnage of yardage last week, they are going to be "trapped" by overconfidence? Really?

Mathews going to be taking plays off you think? (LOL) And guys like Walden and Wynn?

I'm taking them in my survivor pool. Packers by 17.

Damn.

They used Max Pro for most of their plays last week. (Watch NFC Playbook) CM3 will be getting doubled I'm sure.
For the first time in his young career Cam gets to play against a real NFL calibre defense and he finds the experience eye popping as he gets to run for his life as he tries to find an open reciever, the run game gets 89 yards on the ground but no scores, the Carolina defense discovers first hand just how lethal the Packers recievers really are,Packers 43 Panthers 13.
