I am in my FF championship game today. I'm up pretty comfortable until Dallas starts to rally. 4th down for Dallas, and Romo hits Austin for the game tying TD. My opponent had both guys, and he took a lead. Then I see it goes to OT (thanks New Orleans D) and I see the fumble and I am praying they recover and they do and kick the FG. Game over.

If the Giants lose the would need the Bears, Vikings and Cowboys to all lose in week 17 in order to get the six seed.

With the Cowboys at Washington, I can't see the Cowboys winning that one. The Bears are at Detroit which should end the Giants season. Then there's the possibility that the Packers won't have anything to play for against a fired up Vikings team.
If the Giants lose tonight, the Skins would clinch the East division. Next week, they'd need Dallas to lose as well as Minny and Chicago in order to get the 6th seed. If the Skins already have the division wrapped up and have no chance at the 3 seed, perhaps they rest some guys in that week 17 game vs Dallas
Chicago gets the 6th seed if they win out, then they need GB to beat Minny in Week 17. Minny gets in if they just win next week

I am curious what game NBC will choose, I'd think it would be Redskins/Cowboys since it's for the division. But, the Packer/Viking game has a ton of juice as well.
Redskins/Cowboys and it ain't even close.
It works for the benefit of the Packers for it to be a noon game next week. The Vikings and their fans will work themselves into a frenzy (even moreso than they will now) for a SNF game where the playoffs and Peterson's record is on the line. Next week will be the toughest regular season game of the season.

No NBC game next week since there isn't a Sunday night game. Packers/Vikings and Redskins/Cowboys on FOX. Maybe regional coverage with certain areas of the country getting one of these games. Since Peterson has a chance to break the rushing record then more of the country may get the Packers game. Hope so.
There will be a Sunday Night game next week, Packy. It is just not yet scheduled. The Packers game will be the premier game on Fox's early lineup next week. Both networks have doubleheaders, so almost everyone in the country will get that game.

Did not know that. I've been using the ESPN playoff machine and when I had every team finish 9-7(Chicago, Minny, Dallas, NYG, WAS) it still listed Washington as the division champs

I stand corrected. I thought the flex scheduling changes had to be announced further in advance. My bad.
I really hope they don't since the 49ers game will be shown here. I hate having to drag my computer out to the living room, and NFL Game Pass's picture is inferior to what I get from Comcast. On a somewhat different topic, has anyone downloaded the Front Row Sports download that they say you need to have to watch games on their website. My virus protection software warned me not to download it and after Googling the site it looked a little suspicious. Just wondering if anyone else has tried it?
Never download the garbage those sites tell you to get. All you need to watch video on those sites is a working Flash plugin.
