Saw Devondre Campbell send out a tweet that he is not happy about playing injured right now.  Sounds like he’s potentially going to be a malcontent going forward.  Frankly, I don’t blame him.  If an injured version of Devondre is as bad as he showed on Sunday, someone else should be out there.

Not going to play injured? Well, guess he just retired then. The guy is ALWAYS injured. MOVE ON!

Sounds like things are getting out of control. If only we had a team president who is more interested in the team than sledding hills we would be a playoff team now.   What Me Murphy has to go, the sooner the better. Why wait until 2025.

Sounds like Campbell may think he is being "scapegoated" for Sundays debacle since MLF blamed it all on lack of communication, and he is the only getting the call from the booth and has to relay it to all the defensive players. Campbell has been an enigma .... was pretty much a journeyman player and surprised the heck out of everyone by having an outstanding first season in GB. Last season wasn't as good, but still the second best of his career, this year he is back to playing like he did before coming to GB. We need an upgrade.

I really don't want a team pres "in the locker room". You must be a big Jerry fan.

Never even implied WMM should be in the locker room. But somebody has to be the adult leader and tell Gutey and MLF to get things straightened out and now. Otherwise you will soon have 53 individuals and no team.  As far as the Jerry comment he can kiss my rosy red ass.  You too.

I'm hoping this was Campbell's final game wearing Green & Gold. He looked slow and his tackling was poor. I think he's also become disgruntled which is the last thing a young team needs in the locker room.

Isiah McDuffie may not have the physical attributes, as Campbell, but he leaves it all on the field and helps the team more than he hurts it.

ILB is a major need in the next draft along with another big body NT to help out Slaton. The defense in general is very weak up the middle.

I said last night that if you put McDuffie’s brain and grit in Quay’s body then you have an HOF LB. McDuffie seems to know where to be, hustles, can flash some good plays, but he’s got some obvious physical limitations. Quay is the same but the opposite…flashes big plays, shows off big time athleticism, but seem has some mental barriers. Campbell just lost a step, he’s off on a couple different fronts, defense lacks juice when he’s out there honestly.

Campbell's run with GBP should be over.    His production is fading hard and his locker room presence does not appear to be a positive one.    Let's see if Gute can find another one like he did with Campbell or even role with Quay, McDuffie, and rookies.

Cutting him only saves 3 million in cap space according to spotrac.   But I don't think he is worth the 3 million.

They should replace him with a younger more athletic player anyway.

Odd... Barry and Olivadotti were his coaches in '21 when he was All-Pro, and his coaches since. All of a sudden he doesn't like the way they coach?

Maybe it's LaFleur he lost respect for?

After his “take my ball and go home” whine session on Twitter mid season, I don’t give a fuck what he says.

Im not the guy who turns on ex Packers, but this bitch was the first to quit.   MLF rallied the boys and then he came back and was suddenly healthy enough to play again.

In summary, he’s a loud mouth bitch.

I agree last season it appeared he was sandbagging his injuries and then quit on the team. Even if the schemes were bad that doesn't give DC a pass for all the missed tackles and lack of intensity.

A young roster, that is building something special, doesn't need a has-been being a potential cancer in the locker room. I'll take a player like McDuffie, despite his limitations, over a malcontent like Campbell everyday of the week.

De'Vondre Campbell has had 1 good season (2021 in Green Bay) out of 7 during his NFL career. Unfortunately, GB signed him to a big, new contract after that 1 year.

SF signed Campbell only after 32 year-old Eric Kendricks reneged on a deal with the 49ers to join his old coach Mike Zimmer in Dallas. Campbell was not exactly a prized commodity on the free agent market.

Campbell's criticism, after he got released, of the defensive coaching in GB comes off as sour grapes .

However, he is hardly the only defensive player (or coach) to voice his displeasure with Joe Barry and his scheme.

And the indisputable record reflects that Barry has now failed, miserably, as an NFL Defensive Coordinator for 3 different franchises.

Joe also didn't get a sniff from another team to be their DC after MLF finally admitted his mistake and fired him in January, which shows what the rest of the NFL thinks about him.

Anyone recall a returning Packer defensive player lament old Joe getting shit-canned? Kenny Clark? Gary? Quay? Anyone? Me either.

That the Packers' defense often looked dysfunctional with Barry as the DC and Campbell as the highly-paid, veteran "leader" calling the defense reflects poorly  on a lot of folks ... not just Joe or De'Vondre.
