As thrilled as I was when Jerry Kramer got the call

I was happier for JK. I got to know his daughter Alicia just before the campaign got really ramped up. You want to talk about a strong person, holy crap, she willed that sucker across the finish line. Jerry had pretty much resolved it wasn't going to happen and made peace with it. But she refused to take no for an answer.

Don't get me wrong, I can't stop smiling about LeRoy, but I never felt like the time had passed. Part of me always felt he'd get in one day. I'd also resolved JK wasn't getting in...so when he did, the surprise (and joy) was greater.

So the 1990s Super Bowl (and perennial playoff) team has three guys in

Favre, Reggie, and Butler

The 2010 Super Bowl (and perennial playoff) team will have at least two guys in the HOF - Woodson and Rodgers. Will that be it?

It's pretty likely - Sitton may have the best chance of eventually getting in and his chance is very low. CM3 and Collins outstanding for 4-5 periods, but didn't sustain it long enough.

CM3 was really done as an impact player at 28

61 sacks and 5 interceptions in first 6 years, 30.5 sack and 1 int. his last 5 years

Collins was on a HOF trajectory until his neck injury. If he'd have played 4-5 years at his 2008-2010 level he may have been in (and the Packers probably win the 2011 title).

I don't think anyone else was ever even in the HOF conversation. Driver, Jennings,  Jordy, and Tramon were all Pro-Bow level guys but nothing beyond that.

Crosby was the best kicker in Packers history, one of the best kickers in NFL playoff history, and never missed a game in 15 years in Green Bay. He never made a Pro Bowl.

In the years Rodgers was a starter, the only other guy that is a sure-fire HOFer is Julius Peppers. Davante Adams has a strong chance if he has 3-4 more years at this level. Bakhtiari was on that path, but the ACL tear may have ended that.

Yeah, I was friends with her on Social media, writing letters to the committee at her direction, buying autographed prints of her dad on the sweep to raise money. I think you're right--she MADE it happen.
