Should be a good game.  At least it won't be 8:30 am Hawaii time for the boys.  BTW....did the Hoya's coach Thompson lose a bunch of weight?

 Bucky needs to stop turning the ball over so much.  When they get decent feeds into the post, it makes that offense look unstoppable sometimes.  

Bucky just brutalized the Hoyas on the boards last night. YIKES!

Good to see Vito shooting good.......need someone to be consistent from the outside for the inside out swing O to roll.   Keep it up

Ammo:  out here in San Diego, it says the game is starting at 7 pm Pacific Time.  ?????  

7:30 pm Central would be 5:30 Pacific.....so, I wonder if I am getting it tape-delayed or something?

3rd place game is at 7:30... championship tip-off 30 minutes after the conclusion. ~10p CST

My DISH guide says it starts at 9:00 CST.   3rd place game started at 6:30 CST and is right now at 6:04 to go in the 1st half.  OSU up 33 -21 over Georgetown.

Hayes has been a complete disaster... compounds his horrific offense all half with a foul on a 3 on the last possession of the first half. Gard needs to sit his ass for a long time. Shooting them out of the game and then stupid plays like that and the airmail out of bounds... sit him. 

Nigel Hayes should be in the NBA... instead of wrecking the badgers. Brutal!

Lots of film on bad shots tonight.  

I cannot imagine a senerio where Berry is a pro unless the Bucks draft him in the second round.  He's going to have over half of his shot blocked.

Agree!   I mentioned it yesterday to my brother, too.   Even though we beat the Hoyas, I thought there was a lot of snide comments or back-handed compliments by Bilas during that game.

 Same thing tonight.  Granted, some of the criticism was warranted at times when the Badgers starting falling apart....but there were times when NC did something and it was "great" and the Badgers did the same thing and it was "lucky" or whatever.  Of course, I might be a homer, too.   I've never liked Bilas.

Hayes and Hill have both put themselves out there for some criticism.  The game I went to against Central Arkansas, both of them took a step back from the team right before the National Anthem was played.   Also, while back there, I had heard rumblings that Hayes' off-court politics has been causing a bit of distraction for the team.

Still, a lot of season left.  Last year I was grumbling at this point, too, and the ship was righted and we also made the Elite Eight.   Regroup, make corrections, and get ready for the Prairie View A & M game Sunday.  Hopefully, get some mo going before taking on Syracuse next Tuesday night.

Also, I've said this before, but the biggest challenge for this team is Gard trying to figure out the necessary rotation at the right time in each game.   Does he have the huevos to take out a star or two who is having a bad game and willing to put in a line-up that has some spunk and urgency?   That's why he makes the big bucks.

"Star" is not a good label for Nigel Hayes. It messes with his head.   It seems like it is always after a bunch of media build up and hype that he sucks fricken ass.

And nothing a college coach can do takes "huevos."  It is literally just coaching kids.  Nigel should be Exhibit "A" on that.

The irony is, he thinks he's already a pro. That 's his spiel, right? He thinks they should get paid? How much should you have been paid tonight there, kid?

Hayes needs to STFU and play hoops.

Nigel has shot more threes than twos.  Hard needs to fix that.  

I cannot help but think that Hayes' off-court pursuits are affecting his on court play. All the attention on him for being a "social justice warrior" seems to be the catalyst for the "I'm just going to shoot this 3 now that everyone is watching" shots that we saw last night. Same with Koenig- that was the most "dribble down and jack a 3 without a single pass" possessions I have ever seen from a Wisconsin Badgers team...

He did the same thing last year. I don't give a rats ass if he wants to affect social change, but without basketball who is going to listen to him?

This team can't be carried by Happ alone.  Hayes and Koenig did nothing.   Koenig was flat out awful. 

The bench (other than Trice) was nonexistent as well
