Since all we have is the future...
not sure I am thrilled about going for "safe" college picks, but this whole event is a crapshoot.

I take Brady Aiken or Koby Allard. Take one of the two injured players with the highest ceilings in the draft.
Use the MLB balancing pick on a safer guy, with lower salary demands. I think you need to shoot for the moon with a pick in the teens like that. If they don't go with either arm, I like Newmann the SS that is projected to the Cardinals in this mock.
I know nothing of any of these prospects (I watched a little of the Big 10 tournament)
I just want high upside. If the profile says high upside I will be happy.
No one mocks all 50 rounds?
I know that after somewhere in the area of rounds 10-15 teams start taking players that are known only to them for the most part and some would be HS seniors. It would be impossible to study all that.
I'm putting together a consensus board
not necessarily anyone to draft, but we don't have a college baseball forum

With the 15th pick in @MLBDraft, @Brewers take high school OF Trent Clark: http://t.co/BHR1RalIip pic.twitter.com/CXEetAM7t6

Trenton Clark is ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the draft by Baseball America and No. 12 by http://t.co/isGozKgdtz.

Ray Montgomery made it sound like the #Brewers got their guy. Didn't expect Clark on the board at 15.

Glad they went with Clark instead of a college pitcher. Still wish they would have gone with Aiken...
The few mock drafts i saw had those 2 college pitchers going in the top 36.
Ponce was in the top 20 in a few mocks.
Trenton Clark was generally 8-12.
I think the Crew did pretty well today, good start.. Plus, let's be real.. they have a good shot at the #1 overall next year in a stacked draft.
Crew picked very talented players in the back half of the draft. If they can sign one, it might be a good strategy.
FInal #Brewers Draft breakdown: 26 pitchers (20 RH, 6 LH), 5 shortstops, 4 catchers, 3 outfielders, 2 first basemen, 1 3B.
