One of my favorite bands of all time.

The lead singer grew up with his grandfather who was a revival pentecostal preacher.  The other two are French dudes that play over 70 instruments focusing on older obscure instruments.

This was once dubbed Americana Gothic, which is wrong.  It's more Pioneer Fervor Gothic.  Think "There Will Be Blood".

What kind of music would you think some Hippie Stoners from West Virginia that you might end up meeting in the Nevada desert (On the lam after a cross country killing spree? Dealing Meth? Heading to Burning Man? Just driving to a show? Dunno!) would sound like?

Pretty much exactly what you'd think they'd sound like. And they'd look pretty much exactly what you think they'd look like. They'd call themselves Karma To Burn. And instead of naming their songs, they'd just assign them numbers as they wrote them.
