Season hinges on this series

Season hinges on whether the non-Davies, non-Hader pitchers are closer to what they've shown the last 4 games or closer to the staff that has been lit up by the Cubs, Dodgers, and Cards. A lot of pitching staffs are probably going to look worse against those 3, but if they perform like they have the last 4 games this is a  playoff contender.

some folks might not know what you mean Ka-Bong. Here's the definition.....

On the definition of a "slumpbuster", after being pressed by host Jim Rome in a now-infamous 2003 interview on the television show "Rome is Burning" to clarify the baseball slang term (this is the "official" word-for-word transcript from the interview)...
"A slumpbuster is if a team's in a slump, or if you personally are in a slump, you gotta find the fattest, gnarliest, grossest chick and you just gotta lay the wood to her. And when you do that, you're just gonna have instant success. And it could also be called jumping on a grenade for the team."

Nice home stand.  The 2 sweeps were great.  Back into a tie for 1st place and a tie with 2nd most wins in all of MLB. And now on to Chicago and a big series with the Scrubies.   Win 2 of 3 and take back sole posession of 1st place.
