The Bucks could not have played a worse 1st half. Boston shooting the lights out doesn't help, along with their flopping.

They will be a lot of overreaction to this game tonight.
It's pretty simple. The Celtics are 13 for 20 from three. If they are 7 for 20 from three (close to league average) it is a 7 point game even with Giannis being terrible on offense.
The bigger concern is the two game trend where Giannis is now 11 for 37 from the floor. He was terrible in game 1 getting his own offense and he's been even worse tonight. With no Middleton, if Giannis isn't generating offense either for himself or forcing a collapse on him they aren't going to score on any playoff team.

This one is over. The Celtics already have 65 points and the Bucks will be lucky to have that after the third quarter.
The Bucks need to work on some offensive scheme things to get some easier shots.
The other thing is that the Boston offensive spacing without Marcus Smart is much better.
The fact that Giannis has 1 FT attempt is a joke, too.

It's mostly Jaylen Brown. Their other guys are 16 for 33 from the floor.

Well, you can’t win them all. Would be hard to imagine Boston having another game like this. Jaylen Brown sure as hell won’t.
On the other hand, Giannis has not had 2 good offensive games in a row. He’s due. The Bucks can play better.
Would have preferred 2-0 but it’s all the same. Get some rest and adjust and come out strong for game 3.
IF you get flagrant one for that, no taller player could ever pivot around in the post against a shorter player.

Sure they have
It’s not their style, but the Bucks need to bitch and air their grievances about how Boston is being allowed to hack and grab and foul Giannis basically at will. It’s very much like Shaq. If you can’t match up with him physically, well, then foul him and hope you don’t get called.
Boston doesn’t play with great technique or efficiency on D. They do what they can to get away with it. Smart has made a career of it. Other guys have followed his lead.
If not for Brown’s 1Q the Bucks are right in this. It’s a 15 point lead but crazier things have happened. Maybe Milwaukee can make a run.
As much of a blowout as this is, Tatum is really forcing things. It's almost like he's upset that Brown is going off and not him.
