In following the news this past week it sounds like the NBA would likely cancel the remaining regular season games and start a 16 team playoff in one location - Las Vegas.  Not sure if fans would be allowed to attend or what the format would be but Adam Silver has hinted at this concept.

It would be good news and bad news for the Bucks.  A neutral site with no fans negates the sizable advantage the Bucks have playing at home at Fiserv Forum.  On the other hand, limiting number of games could help Milwaukee as guys like Giannis wouldn’t get pounded and worn down as we saw last year v Toronto.

It’s such a Bucks thing to have happen

Another concern is if they choose to shorten up the series from best of 7 to best of 5 or 3.   If games are played on a neutral court you run a greater risk of a team upsetting a higher seed.

It’s also extremely unlikely any team in the East would beat Milwaukee 4 out of 7 games which would mean the opponent would win at least a couple of game in Milwaukee’s home court.

Meetings this week between the owners and another between the star players see some momentum for a return of the season this summer:

Nice to see Giannis get some nods as one of the attendees:

Chris Paul

LeBron James

Anthony Davis

Kevin Durant

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Kawhi Leonard

Stephen Curry

Damian Lillard

Russell Westbrook

Interesting that James Harden wasn’t in the meeting.
