247 Sports has proposed new logos for all 32 NFL teams. They gave the Packers proposed logo an A grade. I think it is ugly.

reminds me of the worst Milwaukee Brewers logo (The "Eric Sogard" of logos")
First thing I thought of was a swastika....not a good call.
funny, as far as Brewer logos...I always thought the glove and ball was very cartoony. But sure has maintained its popularity.
I never realized until about a year ago that the Brewers logo (glove and ball) was also an M and B. I always liked the old fashioned "cartoony" logo, and that revelation made that much better!

Brewer glove and ball remain the best logo...ever.
Second, and dammit if I can find it...that "new" Packer logo is very similar to one they used for just a year or two in the late-50's early 60's if I recall.

That banner...are you sure Lombardi got rid of the GB logo? I have a "Lombardi cap" with that exact logo on it. And didn't the big G come long before 1980?
It seems I read a story about the big "G" coming in 61 or 62 and it took the designer about 10 minutes to sketch it out. I do remember the GB logo I am sure it was because Vince loved Notre Dame but really glad the G came along!
That Brewer catcher mitt logo was designed by a student from my alma mater, UW Eau Claire.
I remember that contest the Brewers held. Classic Logo. Unique. I knew it was a university student but didn't know it was a BluGold!
I have always loved the cartoony Brewers logo. Anything to me that came after it is just meh or bland in my opinion. And I have always been a big fan of the 1961 logo as well. Never as good as the G of course but still a good logo to me.

I have a kid almost 40, still at it. Doing well too. Summa Cum Laude last year and one more year to go for her masters. Circumstances (twins), maturity or lack there of, and economic needs can and do all play a part.
SDPF, your daughter would have hit 40 with or without her master's degree, so why not get all the education you can whenever you can? You should be -- and it sounds like you are -- proud of her.
Many go back to school as "non-traditional" students. Can't fathom why that would be a bad thing in any way.
To clarify...I wasn't trying to make fun of the guy because he was 29. I just didn't realize it was an older student back then when I had first heard it was UWEC student. My sister started college at 38 to become a CPA. (she was a stay at home mom after high school and raised 2 kids first). She asked me what I thought...I told her that no matter what decision she makes, in 4 years she'll be 42. She got her CPA and passed the exam and enjoying her career.
