D not as stout so far this week....
Lobos lookin good
THey should have challenged that catch.
Agree with both of you.
The tip of the ball clearly hit the ground on that trap.
This offense looks tricky to run a D against!
Ugly defensive performance.
So far not so good. Time to wake up boys.
He keeps pitching the ball the way he has and there will be a couple fumbles today. Guarantee it.
Taylor! Great snatch!
Very bad defensive showing....offense making up for it.....Go Bucky.
Did I speak to soon?? Come on Bucky.....3??
Tubby Brazilian good.
Really needed 7 there.... get it together D!
Order has been restored
There we go! 3 and OUT!
Yikes.......might be turning the channel......
Goldie posted:Yikes.......might be turning the channel......
Way to stick with it
Certainly not the start anyone was hoping for.... D needs to create a TO
Thats a frickin forward pitch
3 and OUT.
Lobos pulling out all the stops today

I thought so too, then I wondered if then it's just a pass. But if so, wouldn't linemen downfield come into play?
Ingold rumblin'!
Ugh.....

and Taylor fumblin'....
Geeze JT, again?
They may have to sit him for a while. You can't fumble on a run like that. You understand maybe getting it poked away from behind or on a blindside hit, but not when the guy is right in front of you.
3rd string QB?????
Damn right heβs done for the day. If you cannot hold onto the ball youβre a liability...

Things just got easier
This will still be a test for the offense. They are now "missing" arguably their three best skill guys on offense if you can't trust Taylor and 2 of their top 3 WRs are suspended.

Liable to score a TD on any play.
Now there we go.....
FInally a lead.
Donβt agree with putting him back in there. Ok, got a TD, but thereβs a much larger issue that this kid needs to address.
TD Taylor!!! Some redemption!

I agree completely. That does not send the right message for future games against teams where a mistake like that is fatal

But you can't break his confidence either, it's a fine line to walk.

Agreed. Sending the wrong message to him and the other running backs. As much as I like him; he needed to sit for at least the rest of the half and maybe the rest of the game. The fumbling will hurt them badly in a big game down the road.
That certainly was a WTF end to a half....
Some context on the fumble issues plaguing #Badgers TB Jonathan Taylor. He fumbled once every 49.7 carries in first half of '17 season. That rate went up to one every 30 carries in second half. He lost two in first 29 carries this season.

Certainly not trending in the right direction. Something he definitely needs to clean up.
Poor awareness/ball security from the QB.
Nice turnover by an impressive QB.
Ugh.
RTFB

Nothing new from Horni unfortunately.
and ok, am now turning to Hallmark channel........is it to early for Holiday movies??
Finally a spark...
At least Wisconsin has a capable defense.
Nelson with the PICK! NICE!

You'll like Random Harvest on TCM Monday night.
Breathing room, unleash the dogs. More turnovers coming.
TD catch AJ T!

Nice turnaround. Now, time to dominate the second half.
LOL Lose a yard and fumble on a QB sneak!
Awesome D!
No doubt...RTFB

My wife likes to watch "The Good Witch" and loves Hallmark movies. I just put on my headphones and watch sports on my computer when that happens. Unfortunately, they are going to start those stupid things even earlier this year.
The Big Uglies have taken over
TD JT!!! And run the ball they shall!

From Hornibrook?
Same pattern we've seen in the Orange Bowl and other games- defense struggles a bit early then Leonhard make the right adjustments and it's all good.
Some coaches would sit a back after fumbling, particularly if he has a fumbling history. The Badger staff seems to be taking the opposite tack, keep running him till he drops and dare him to drop it again.
Sitting a back is different from sitting arguably the best player in the country.
Tuba Time!

And I like that approach, it sure seems to be working!

My favorite.
And jump around!
I'm old school...Tuba Time for me.
I love em' both....... GO BUCKY, GO BUCKY, GO BUCKY.
TD Ingold! And not a belly!
The rout begins!

Losing the QB made the adjustments somewhat easier.
Defense lost a little intensity here.

Yeah, sure would like to see the lads finish this one strong.
Now he can sit
TD JT and a new career high!!

Yup!
Cone, great read for the pick!
Taylor University took this baby over.....thanks to the big fellas up front
A couple of Froshes get their 1sts! Congrats kids! TD Bucky!
The poor kid in the Bucky suit is thinking, 'Oh, just shoot me'.
Unfortunately, they are going to start those stupid things even earlier this year.
No kidding! How is C-Boy going to get his Murder She Wrote fix when he can't sleep!
Hate to see the fumbling but Taylor is so freaking good you almost have to just deal with it because of everything else he does.
New Mexico gave them an early scare but UW put their foot down and stomped them out. Good to see Neuville and Lowdermilk back. Need to get D Davis back in the fold.

Good thing you guys don't coach. This would have been a loss.
Badgers win but drop one place in the AP. Oklahoma jumped them.
