This.

It's cute in HS ball. Professional football, it fails, other team catches onsides kick or team fails to convert on 4th and opposing team scores TD.

Fans become irate. ST's coach and his bag of tricks sent packing.

End of experiment.
I believe in the NFL, only about 10-15% of expected onside kicks are recovered by the kicking team. (More like 40% if the kick is a surprise.) t wouldn't work.

And as for 11 men in the box and the wide receivers not covered, well, I wish someone would try that on Rodgers. I think he'd do quite well! Smiler

[Mind you, after last week's punt and KO coverage, there are definite plus points - we might get better field position if we go for it on 4th and 10 than if we punt.) Roll Eyes

It was a joke. I just thought it was hilarious that he has like a dozen different onsides kicks in his playbook.
