Whatever happens Sunday, just happy that the team pulled it together and made a run. (Thanks Coach)   We are the envy of everyone outside of Boston and Pittsburgh.    People were lining up to say the 20 year run was over, sorry, still going bastards!

That is kind of where I am at right now.  I think back to when they were 4-6 and I honestly wanted them to tank it and get better draft choices. But MM somehow pulled it all together and with bubble gum, duct tape, and super glue somehow has made a deep playoff run despite all of the injuries and has them playing out of their minds.

So whatever happens on Sunday I am enjoying this ride and they have far exceeded any expectation that I had.  Everyone here knows how superstitious I am with predicting Packers wins but I am going to change that this time.

Somehow and some way the Packers gut their way through this game and pull it out 37-35.  Gunter bats away a 4th and goal pass to seal the deal.

Tretter was inactive vs DAL, so I was not expecting him to be available this week.

Football, IMO, is the ultimate team game. In every other team sport 1 player can dominate a game and carry their team. Right now Rodgers is as close as a player can get to dominating a football game a carrying their team. But, at the end of the day, they'll need all 3 phases to excel on Sunday.

If Jordy, Geronimo, Adams, and Burnett can't go, things look pretty dim. Leaving the WR position to Davis and Janis means the D can concentrate on Cook and Cobb, neutralizing them. If that's the case, I am going to look for Monty and RichRod to have an impact, with Monty either moving to slot or coming out of the backfield as a receiver after being lined up with Michael in double RB sets.

This is a game that could come down to D. We have to hold them to give our O a chance without its WRs.

No matter if it ends now or not, this has been a he** of a season! What a ride! And if it's his last, thanks TT!

...we definitely need a longer NFL season.  I want to watch practice squad players playing their first NFL downs in the superb owl.

I would like to see some kind of reform to the schedule also.
I've always thought that the season should be 18 weeks long and use the additional weeks as bye weeks. I'd also have every team having their byes at the same time. This may be the hardest point to sell to the networks and advertisers, but surely some solution can be reached. The point is to remove any advantages of teams having more favorable bye weeks.

My guess is it would ultimately result in revising the pre-season format to make this possible, but that's a whole 'nother story...

Nice try. Take #12 this team and I bet Barcelona beat them...without Messi.

Gotta disagree with those that are okay with a loss on Sunday based on how exciting previous games have been.

If Rodgers retires with just one Super Bowl ring it will be an utter disappointment.

It takes a lot to get this far and who knows what's going to happen in the future. They have the talent to win Sunday and hoping they do. Atlanta is overrated right now IMO.

I keep hoping that this week will be the one time that MM plays the coy injury information game correctly and actually surprises the opposition by announcing a player/players will be ACTIVE 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

I think maybe he has setup his style of underestimating injuries and surprising us with inactive players all these years waiting for the perfect game to flip his script.

Jordan had one of the highlight games of his career while battling the flu.

The Steelers are going through it too.  It sucks, this on top of all the injuries.  It is a wonder they've gotten to this point.  I considered GB a SB contender before the season but would not in a million years have believed they would get there after the 6th loss.  Can't help but wonder what they could do with just a couple less injuries.

Just got a text from my friend. Said Rodgers has the flu.

Don't know the validity of this

Rodgers got the flu. Going through the team!

Alright this is just piling on at this point.

It's like that Bible story where the dude's commitment keeps getting tested by more and more adversity.

I mean is that all you got, Fortuna?

Book of Job. While there are many layers. The part you reference specifically is a test of faith. So in this context. It's more applicable to fans. Not the Packers.
