Well, George Kittle had a big drop in the game as well.  Might have gone for a TD.

Even some of the passes that were completed weren’t exactly on target.  Adams scraped a couple basically off the turf that maybe only a couple of WRs could catch.

Credit to SF they were getting pressure on Rodgers and he didn’t seem his usual self in the pocket.  It happens.

I just don’t know what else they can do at this point.   Just about everything was lined up in their favor the last couple of years and they completely melted down.  That’s not all on Rodgers BTW.   But he’s part of the equation.

it is time to reset so we have some dark days and reset with draft capital.  that is the best way - not the only way - but the best way to go ahead...only the rams are the pioneers to the pay for players w/ draft capital strategy...it will be over after this year...if they lose, it's a home-run hail/mary situation...if you lose by trading draft capital for players, your job, coach, system everything is in jeopardy.  that's a real cut-throat way to run an organization...we need the chance at some blue chip talent - last was 52...and he wasn't a top 10 really...we need to suck for a little bit...nature's reset...happened to all the teams...middling doesn't help anything, got to suck and hit on your picks.

MLF has been the most successful regular-season head coach in his first 3 years in NFL history. He has come up with great schemes to optimize Rodgers' talents that were being lost under MM and, generally, his clock management and in-game decisions are good. That is not worthless, but there is a common denominator in a lot of these problems is that he seems afraid to really take over as THE MAN when he needs to. That doesn't mean you have to go Rex Ryan or Arians and show guys up on the sideline. How many times has Belichick ever yelled at anyone publicly (except maybe Brady)? But you better believe that Belichick would have taken care of some of these problems.

1. Your HOF QB has gone a off-script and has regressed to trusting only 2 guys to catch the ball, holding the ball waiting for said 2 guys to get open, and has clearly gotten tight.  Isn't your job as the Head Coach to talk to him at halftime or during one of the breaks and get him to relax and play to his potential? It's hard to do that with a HOF QB, but you don't have to show him up on the field to do this. Talk to him at halftime. Have a brief conversation on the bench. Kevin Greene had his "it is time" moment with CM3 in the Super Bowl. Did he even try that with Rodgers?

2. Your special teams has sucked all year. It is literally the laughing stock of the NFL. Did he do anything to change things during the year? Did Drayton not listen to him? Who decided on the roster decisions for special teams? MLF is the head guy. When he goes into a playoff game hoping the Special Teams don't screw up that's an indictment on his leadership style. He should have done everything he could to optimize their chance for success. Instead, his attitude was - well, I can't control it so it's not really my problem. Can you imagine Belichick going into a game with that attitude? Belichick would have taken over the special teams unit (you don't have to embarrass Drayton publicly by doing something like this, he can stay the ST coach in name but you take over). It also sends the message you actually give a shit about the problem and feel you can do something about it.

In the end, as much as many of us ragged on Christl and McGinn over the years, an actual local sports press that would write something other than fluff pieces would have served the Packers well this year. Were the Packers doing extra work on STs in practice or were they just paying lip service to improving? How about digging a little and getting some off-the-record quotes from Hunter Bradley or JK Scott about what they thought. Maybe they did and those guys didn't bite, but I doubt it.

Why didn't AR want to throw DeGuara the ball? Was it because he also stunk it up in practice and it was obvious to everyone that you couldn't trust him at all? McGinn would have reported things like that. Didn't McGinn get barred from practices a few times back in the day when he reported stuff a little too close to the bone for management? The current contingent just want to get their access for some fluff pieces about how Rasul Douglas loves Green Bay, etc.

Kind of a head-scratcher so many are willing to shit all over 12 for "not being able to win in the playoffs," but does anyone think the Packers would have won 13 games if he wasn't the QB during the regular season?

He scored plenty of points last year in NFCCG...not his fault the D was horrendous.

They're really shitting all over him for being a coronavirus heretic, and to a lesser extent for dithering in the offseason.
