I’m not much of a soccer fan but it was refreshing to watch World Cup games because there weren’t constant commercial breaks.

How's this for old - I rarely have time to watch the game live now anyway, so I record it and watch the game without commercials later while sequestering myself from any news until I watch it.

They will need 5 million people with Sunday Ticket just to break even. So they probably need to triple their subscribers. Hope it doesn't ruin the product.

I've gotten Sunday Ticket free the last two years.  It comes with the new subscription I get when I have my yearly customer retention call threatening to go with Dish.  It's a pain, but only takes two minutes.  It's worth free ticket for me.
