It sure seems like guys who wear team jerseys to games are pretty violent. 😀
The vast majority of drunken, violent behavior at games could easily be prevented by not selling beer.
At some point, turning away obviously drunk people at the gates may be necessary.
Either of those would go over like a turd in a punch bowl, but that's what it will take.
You mean they're not supposed to sell a Miller light for $15 simply because a guy is drunk?!?!
What are you ..... Communist?!?!
They don't have problems with alcohol and fighting in stands at English soccer games.
They reserve the fighting for afterwards at the pubs!
Seriously though...Americans have a way of taking "asshole" to the next level no matter what it is.
Went to the Packers at Bills a few years ago. Sat in the 2nd row behind the Packers bench. The Packer fans in attendance were just as bad as any fan base I've been around at a Bills game. No fights but between the BS and the cost when I saw the schedule last year I said "never again" even if it was a Mon. night game before Halloween.
Now the Sabres game I went to when Toronto was in town was pure entertainment including the subway rides!

Those were obviously Gold Package ticket holders.
I was at a Packers at Bills game a few years ago and absolutely zero issues tailgating or in the stands. Was a great time.
Also weed.
Any reporter who writes that Harvin was "an electrifying player" and "had a decent career" has to be looked at with skepticism.

I remember back when the vikings played the Cowboys, at the old Metropolitan Stadium, where Cowboy's WR, Drew Pearson, made the first "Hail Mary Catch" and beat the vikings and defender Nate Wright. vikings fans threw oranges and batteries at their opponents, there. There is no way vikings fans were drunk, as they served 3.2 beer, there. That was just vikings fans being vikings fans. Metropolitan Stadium is now the site of the Mall of America. The Minnesota Twins had Home Plate bronzed into the floor of the MOA, where it was located when the Met Stadium stood there. They should have also had a football bronzed into the floor to commemorate where the ball landed when Pearson threw it out of the stadium, after his Hail Mary catch.

Same here last year. Did see some fights, though. Oddly enough it involved Eagles fans.
