Thanasis doubtful with a calf injury. Lopez and Ojeleye still out.

Bucks hang in there after the first half (Down 3), but start the second half with the Pelicans starting to pull away.

Against all odds, and mainly because of Grayson Allen going nuclear from three at the end of the third, the Bucks are even after three quarters.
Bucks had a chance to tie in the 4th, but Nwora blows a bunny and the Pelicans hit a three to go up 5.

I’m encouraged by Jrue’s play of late.
Through his first 11 games, he was shooting 37.8% from the floor.
Since 11/20, he’s been shooting 55.3%, and coming into tonight, 41.8% from three.
Give him a lot of credit for staying with it, and working through his rough patch. That could pay real dividends once we’re at full strength….that is, if we ever get to full strength.
The number of Buck starter games lost to injury and COVID is astronomically high.

NBA just announced they are going to allow teams to sign extra players to replace each player on the COVID list. So, in other words, no more game cancellations.
That means we are pretty close to watching the Bucks play on Xmas day with a lineup of Brandon Jennings, Ilyasova, a bunch of Wisconsin Herd players in a game that counts in the standings.
