Lacy wasn't even Lacy in that game.
Just having him in the backfield is more important than any actual production Eddie may get. The team really hasn't had what I would call a legitimate running game in years. Really excited about a full season of AR and Lacy; I just hope they both can stay healthy.
I would say having him in the backfield may be as important as his productivity. If Lacy ain't productive over time, he's no threat.
There's a viable back-up for each position and it won't require a shuffling
Bak- Sherrod or... Sherrod-Bak
Sitton- Barclay
Tretter-- Linsley / Gerhart
Lang- Barclay
Bulaga - Sherrod/ Bak/ Baclay
3 deep at OT and 3 deep at OG to start the season looks solid
