Looks like we'll have to kick a FG here. You have to take the points.

What do you mean til?
OSU 21
Van Ginkel 10
Really needed a TD after that turnover.
C'mon Van Ginkel. We need another play.

A meaningless season if they don't win it all.....I saw that on the internets.
Need to make JT uncomfortable
Are we sure the Badgers didn't bring in Dom for this game? I'm hoping that means Jim Leonhard shows up for the Packer game tomorrow to run the defense.
Thank you JT
Receivers running open. Very Dom-like.
If I'd told you that at half time the following:
Time of possession: Wisconsin 19:21 out of 30 minutes.
And OSU would have more turnovers we'd have felt pretty good
Urban does not respect our D and is not worried about our O
That will be on tape for NFL scouts to show everyone why Jamerson won't get drafted.
Pikes Peak posted:Urban does not respect our D and is not worried about our O anything about Wisconsin
FTFY
JT Barrett should have thrown for about 4 TDs in the first half based on how open guys have been.
Nick Nelson? I was expecting that to be blocked by Van Ginkel
If JT Barrett had played well, this would be 35-3.
Half time show guys laughing at the Badgers.
Not worried here. Been a second half team all season. We will come back.
Entertaining first half. Both teams left points on the field.

What adjustments can you make? I'm not being a smart ass, I'm just wondering.
Glad your not the coach
RGT posted:Glad your not the coach
I'm asking what people think the adjustments should be. I think Chryst is a great coach and I'm a fan. I just don't know what they can do differently.
Don't need adjustments, tighten up on D and make a hole or two for Taylor and we have a shot.
Then again OHIO may start hitting on all cylinders and we play on Dec 30. UCF anyone?
Try to inspire and teach. Not giveup!

I think OSU is going to scheme on defense to make sure that Taylor doesn't beat them. Horni will have to take advantage of them stacking the LOS. Chryst has done a great job designing plays to get guys wide open and come up with some creating running plays for the FB.
Obviously Horni is missing guys and his INT was a killer on a great drive.
How about that Oline start driving guys backwards. I know OSU is committing to stoping Taylor, but they are not getting any movement.
JL needs to figure out a pass rush that works, because letting JT sit back and throw means he will hit 1 out of every 4 TD passes. Safe isn't working, I guess if he is going to beat you with his feet, he will.
I think they should consider playing conservative on defense and making OSU sustain long drives. JT Barrett making mistakes is their best chance. If they have to use 10 plays to go 80 yards it makes it more likely he'll make a mistake.
out at a friend's tonight so not able to post.
**** off osu, we're comin!!
fem bucky!!!!
I think the most illuminating comment in the first half is that OSU didn't even offer Danny Davis a scholarship. I'm very excited about what he'll do in the future, and he couldn't even get a sniff from them.

Welcome back Cave! We need you
The OSU front 7 is stopping the run because they don't have to honor the pass. The Wisconsin OL is not playing that poorly. There's just too many guys to block.
Ok. is this going to be competitive or not? Can't let them score 7 here
That's promising.
I smell a comeback boys
OK. I want to see good Horni
Nice start.
OSU has 3 plays that covered 218 yards.
The other 34 plays have been for 96 yards.
Run the ball... start winning the LOS
Davis with a HUGE catch!
how could OSU not offer Davis a scholarship
For once, it wasn't on Horni
Damn, if Horni leads Davis there it's 6.
1 score game.
Herschel posted:Damn, if Horni leads Davis there it's 6.
I thought it was a decent pass given the pass rush.I though the DB made a nice play
Going to eventually have to figure out how to get in the EZ.
Time of possession
Wisconsin 22:33
OSU 12:13
Gags!
O.K. There is a start. You are not going to win this game with one play, Just keep it going, one good play at a time. 3 and out here for OSU is another start.
antooo posted:Gags!
Gags with the touchbacks is important too.
It seems when Wisconsin throws at whoever #12 is covering, it is generally not a good result.

Maybe they thought he didn't look athletic enough.
OK, it was close, but that $%*&'ing ref gave it to him by a ton,
OSU now has 4 plays that have covered 260 yards.
Just when.....

They obviously need to make those 60 to 80 yard plays more like 15-20 yards. Just not enough speed at safety to contain them once they break through.
I sure hope if Wisconsin doesn't come back tonight that they don't end up playing UCF in the bowl. Just like Western Michigan last year, that is a no win situation.
God damn it Horni. Make the easy throws.

You can't possibly be as sad and drunk in real life as you seem to be here at X4, can you? Dude, people literally laugh at you---do you not notice?
Hornibrook is not good
That series was on Hornibrook. When they rush 6 guys, you have to get rid of the ball on third down. And the screen pass was probably a first down on second down.
Need to hold them to no more than a FG here. A 3 and out would be nice, but they can't go down 3 scores.
Bucks in danger of blowing a 14 point lead in the last 8 minutes of the Sacramento game.
Hornibrook was 4 of his first 5 for 55 yards.
He's 5 for 16 for 81 yards with 1 int since. And he's missed at least 5 wide open guys.
I love how when the OSU CB knocks it out of the guy's hands, it's the talent of the OSU DB. When the Wisconsin DB knocks it out, it's the WR's fault for not catching it.
Gotta squeeze that INT. Would have flipped field position
Tschmack posted:I would guess it's your life that sucks. Otherwise why preach to others about it?

You're right. I want to be you.
Drunk. Angry. Unfunny and not too bright.
If the Badgers had even mediocre QB play it's closer. Hornibrook melting under the pressure so far
For the less informed Badger fans like me, can anyone explain what the attraction is to Hornibrook?
His arm looks pitifully weak, he is as elusive as a 40-year old coming off major knee surgery, he seems to panic in the pocket, he has trouble making even simple throws, and he gets picked off way too often.
Nice offense
Could just throw that away instead of losing 5 yards
Badgers are going to need another defensive score

You've captured the essence of Alex Stave-Brook. It's like they've been playing the same guy at QB for the last 7 years.

Former Eagle Scout.
Boy did they need that. Terrible decision by Barrett
Oh my goodness!
Let's get the much needed TD.
How much has OSU scored this half?
Ohio St has zero respect for Hornibrook. Zero.
D gives them another shot
Let's see if the offense can do anything
Tschmack posted:D gives them another shot

Oh no fukk stick, you declared "Dagger" earlier.....go away.
As much as big offensive plays have hurt us, it is looking more and more like the offense isn't getting it done.
Good things happen when you complete the easy screen passes.
BS ticky tack call
Offensive line has been horrible tonight.
ticky tack ass call.
That was a BS call
YEAH!
The king of the 5 yard flip pass.
Horni got it rollin' now!
So how has Leonhard adjusted after the half. Other than one play, the defense has played very well
MichiganPacker2 posted:So how has Leonhard adjusted after the half. Other than one play, the defense has played very well
Great call by Chryst. Should have been a TD
Punch it in.
Don't like that. You are Wisconsin. Run it 4 times from the one,
THERE YA GO!!!
