TT didn't waste time getting the pick in? Are the Packers drafting or something, beacause both networks went to commercial

Come on Ted just take Lacy
Yeah, why take a durable guy when you can get a guy who already has injury issues.
Go NT.
Twitter saying its Eddie Lacy... JSO confirming
Lacy? Well that surprises me.
Well, so much for avoiding injured players. But they got their big back.
Go Robby!
LACY!!!!!!
LOve it!
LOve it!
I'm happy with this pick. If this guy is the real deal, the sack numbers on Rodgers can be cut in half instantly.
YES ssssssssssssss!!!!!
they won't run him 30 times a game, he'll do fine
I am happy to see them take a RB that can catch a screen pass.
Wanted another DT or an OLineman but cannot argue with the value there. Really hope this guy reaches his potential.
He had a better O line at Bama
Love the pick. Small injury moved him down. Dropped in TT's lap. Awesome!!!
He has got to have THAT special number now. What is available?
Guess Ced Bensin will have to look elsewhere.
don't like it. hope i am rong
Thank Quetzalcoatl for that.quote:Originally posted by antooo:

Ok...now for some OL, TE, S. Maybe a WR late.

Alabamas OL is better than the Packers?
I'm with you Johnnie Gray, the online guys at NFL.com not sold on Lacy
Meh.

yes
MM, 3rd and 1...RTFB!!!!
So does TT look for O-line in the 3rd round?
Again... Injury issues may or may not impact Lacy. Terrell Davis had major injury issues. If Lacy plays anything like Davis...
he better
Now need a road grader at C to open some holes for him.
Quick- name 5 other players that Packers picked from Alabama...
ten four....that would be nicequote:Originally posted by antooo:

TT signed Rodgers to a huge contract and now going to build a power running team!
Bart Starr
Lacy was a very tough runner when hit. Took the hits and dished them out. Like someone said he won't have as many carries now. NOW, Rodgers finally has a running back. This offense will be awesome in my opinion.
I look at the Packers line this way: if Bulaga can make a successful flip over to LT and Barclay can build on what he did last year (maybe Sherrod will even step up, who knows?), the Packers could have an above average OL if everything gels right (I'm looking at you, James Campen), even if they are stuck with Dietrich-Smith at center. They have good players at guard, and we all know Bulaga is a player, so there is some room for hope out there when Barclay's contributions are taken into consideration.
George Teague...

Let's just say that Richardson and Lacy had some BIG holes to hit. How many have you seen up in GB lately?
Teague
