ridiculous. maybe ted can trade all our picks tomorrow for the rights to all undrafted players. sheesh.
Bringing in some fiery youngins....competition...competition

10 picks tomorrow. Good lord.
How many of these players will make the team?

And that Jaymo, is how it's done.
Ok so after paying Matthews and Rodgers GB must be low on cash........or TT gets paid per draft pick
Maybe TT is thinking that with all of the injuries that happened last year, the need to close the gap between the starting 22 is more important than the starting 22 that starts the season?
No doubt in my mind that Trader Ted will be moving up in RD4 or RD5 with all those picks he has. They aren't using all 10 picks because they won't have 10 spots for them
Let's trade them all to the Vikings for next year's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Thompson on trades, extra swings: "We hope it works out. We still have to finish it tomorrow."

Ted Thompson gets to the podium and is out of breath. All those trades will do that to you. Pretty funny.

My halfling thief picks the lock on your draft room door and rearranges your board.
So a lot of us (yes, I said US), wanted TT to grab Barrett Jones. Still there going into tomorrow. Looks like it would have been a reach.

If the Packers actually use all of their picks tomorrow they'll have drafted 12 guys -- the most in the Ted Thompson-era.
TT will be moving up tomorrow at some point. Nice day 1 TT.

Thompson: (two trades with SF) It's a function of numbers. You trust your scouting dept. and how you've built your board.

TT: If you feel good about trading down and being comfortable you will get players later, so what if you're on short end of value chart?

Thompson: "Some of the trades resulted (from) solicitation on our part, some of it was spur-of-the-moment, we got a phone call."

I'll say he moves up more than once. Too many picks for few roster spots. TT should have a fun day tomorrow. If there is a player they want, they know they can move up to get him with all the ammo they have
With all those picks, Ted could afford to take a flier on a guy like Marcus Lattimore.

If the math done by @RobDemovsky and I just now is right, 19 of the 26 draft-day trades Ted Thompson has made have been backward.

DAtone, Lacy and Lattimore in one draft with a whole boatlaod of picks left?

not much waiting tomorrow, the picks (and/or trades) will be fast and furious
if TT only hits on 1 of 3 picks, we should do OK

Over / under of actual picks made by GB tomorrow?
6.5 would be the line. I'd go with the over and say 7

I wonder if it has ever happened before that Wisconsin had the same number of players drafted in rounds 1-3 as Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State combined?

I knew I'd screw up that Ted Thompson trade thing. It's 20 of 26 have been back in his nine drafts with #Packers.
@jasonjwilde 3m
#Packers trades up got Jeremy Thompson, Clay Matthews, Morgan Burnett, Jerel Worthy, Casey Hayward, Terrell Manning.
@MikeVandermause 3m
This marks fourth time in Ted Thompson's nine drafts that #Packers didn't have 3rd-round pick: 2005, 2009, 2012 were other years.

how does tt not get charged for rape?
Ted with 2 first rd picks and 10 more picks to go.
Just like I was telling a Queen fan today: I don't get too excited about the first two days because we get a ton of good quality on the last day, and then we follow that by scooping up free agents. Hehehe...
The site shows two round 5 picks but we actually have 3 correct?

its always consensual when dealing with TT
3 picks in rd. 5
can see taking a QB tomorrow. Heck, bring in Barkley with one of hte 4ths. MM can coach him up and Ted can trade him for a first in a couple of years
One could argue that we've drafted the best d-lineman and best RB in the draft, both positions of need for the Packers. And in the process, TT accumulated four extra picks, giving us 10 more. Once again, I have to tip my hat to TT. I like the way he works the draft.

Don't let the round number throw you. Starr was 200th overall. Brady, a 6th rounder in the current 32 team format was 199th overall.

Turnover tends to run about 10 rookies every year. I'll say 8 of them stick along with a couple of UDFA or end of preseason pickups or trades.
12 picks will never be too many for this GM.
I am absolutely thrilled with what TT has done. Tons of late round value here. Excited to see what he does tomorrow.
Barrett Jones and Quessenberry still on the board.
